I went off the pill after my last AF (4 weeks ago), and DH and I have been ttc. AF was due yesterday, no show. I did 2 HPT yesterday using Crystal Clear and 2 lines appeared on both tests, but on both the 2nd line was really faint.
I tried a different brand this morning, First Response, and the same thing happened! Very confusing! I would have thought you either get one dark line for negative or two for positive, but the 2nd very faint line has confused me!
Has anyone had this happen or know what the faint line means? I looked at the instructions and it doesn't say anything about getting a "faint" line.
On all 3 tests, both lines showed up within 2 minutes.
Its possible. I wouldn't trust the crystal clear as they are known to have evap lines, but the first response are fairly accurate. How light is the line? As long as you can hold it at arms length and see it clearly, then it should be a positive.
congratulations - on pregnancy tests any second line usually means you are UTD, even faint one. It is possibly faint cause you are testing so early into your cycle.
Congratulations. Id say its a BFP also. Wait for a few days and your line should be darker then. Its probably still abit early to get a nice fat dark line.
Try again in a few days, this happened to me and I tried a few days later and the lines were more positive. Im guessing you could be pregnant but your hormone levels are just not high enough yet to show up on a pregnancy test. Cross fingers for you. Let me know how you go
The first response one today was actually a fair bit darker than yesterdays, which were barely visible. Probably about half as dark as the control line today.
Might make a GP appointment to confirm in that case, I just thought it would be easy and you either get one line or two the same but I guess there's a little more to it than I thought!
congrats! i would say that it is a BFP!! even if they are feint when they have colour it's the real deal!
also, you can get the digital ones that say 'pregnant' 'not pregnant' that tends to leave out alot of confusion...although they are not as sensitive as the line ones so you do have to be late for AF...which you are!
