    Definate positive, then definate negative???

We slipped up. On cd 15...

Been stressing, big time. AF due any day....
Yesterday bought a 3 pack of HPT.
    Done one straight away.
    In the arvo.
Positive, in under the 10 min.

It was coloured, full width, easy visable from arms length. Still there today. Ad was 100% convinced. I have been feeling crap, and exhausted. Smelling a coffee the other day made me dry heave.

Done another this morning, just to confirm, and its negative. Definately.
I have one left, will do it tommorrow morning.

What on earth do I believe?????

We had finally, after many many talks, decided to have no more... I dont know what to think at the moment.... "stressed" doesn't even nearly cover it.....

OMG wow i don't know which one to believe, but i always thought that if you got a positive there was no mistake you were pregnant. I thought the only way there could be a mistake was it saying negative and you were actually pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was always told you cant get a false positive, if it comes up in under time limits.

Personally I would be off to GP for a blood test as that way you know for sure.

I would actually say you're not pregnant at this time. You might have been when you took the first test. My FS said that in "normal" couples (and I don't know your fertility history or how your kids were conceived, but I think pretty easily?) you can actually get fertilisation 10 out of 12 months of the year, but that for one reason or another the blastocyst doesn't implant.

What CD did you take the first test? My FS said they REALLY STRONGLY advise NOT to test early if you're undergoing IVF or other reproductive therapies as you can quite often get a positive test at home, then go for the blood test and it's negative. Which means that you (in my case ) get really excited about being pregnant and then have the world's most god awful period because it's actually a really early miscarriage.

So, I don't think your pregnant now.

I truly thought you can only get a false negative, not a false positive.

**hugs** babe, whichever way it goes!

not last cycle when i got my angel baby but 2 cycles before that, i got a faint pos on a fr (dpo), the next day it was a bfn (10 dpo), then the day after again it was a faint pos (11dpo), then the next day it was a bfn again (12dpo), then a week later af came.

Good luck hun, i would wait a week then test again.
