Do you see two lines on my HPT??

Hey there everybody,
I've been TTC since Oct 2007, had 2 pregnancies but they both ended in m/c within 1st Trimester. AF is due on 1st November but I tested today because I'm a POAS Addict!! What do you think of the results, do you think I should call it or wait until Friday and test again?

Thanks for looking, yeah I think I'm going to call it... but hold off on celebrating until a few days time until that second line is darker.



I hope that this time around I get to hold my baby, I don't see why anything would go wrong because I've been doing everything right.

Yep I see a clear second line, congrats! By the way I tested at 11DPO with that brand and my line was quite feint, so don't be concerned about that!

YAY!! How long until you got a darker line? I was going to try and hold out on re-testing until Friday as I am almost 100% sure that I will get a dark line by then.

I don't think I have ever gotten a +ve as dark as the control line - even when I POAS at 8wks just to use the last test I had.

With those cheap internet tests I have never gotten anything more than a feint to medium strength line, never anything near the control line. However, with the more expensive brands my HPT at 16DPO was as bright as the control, I think it was the brand where you float the pee stick in a cup with a foam ring... stupid placenta dementia lol I can't remember the name of it...

However I tested at 8 weeks with Crystal Clear (at 7 weeks my hcg was 75000) and I still only got a feint line, so I was disappointed in that brand!

Well I can just see the line if I hold it at arms length so I guess that qualifies. I guess the PREGNOW internet cheapies tend to give very faint lines to lots of ladies that are in fact pregnant. I have 2 more HPT's left so I guess I'll just use them up over the next 7 days.
I'm not a fan of the Crystal Clear HPT's either. I used Pregnosis last time and that was a very clear result at 14 DPO.

It's an internet cheapie - PREGNOW, supposed to be very sensitive picks up the pregnancy hormone at 10iu

Ok, have you tried any different brands? I've just heard a few bad stories about the pregnow brand & just thought it would be better to have 2 or 3 +HPT's on different brands rather than just going on the pregnow? A friend of mine here on BB got a false + on a pregnow & I'd just hate to see someone else go through what she had to.
I'm honestly not trying to put a downer on this thread or your wonderful news, I'd just suggest trying a different brand & hopefully that will just prove its a true +.

Thanks for letting me know. I've actually just been having some very light bleeding, brown in colour (sorry if this is TMI) and mixed with CM. I'm hoping that this is just old blood left over from implantation bleeding, but I will buy a different brand of test tomorrow and re-test on Friday with the different brand just so I know what's going on.

Oh please do. I got false pos off Pregnow too. It was faint but there all the same.
