Hi lovely ladies,
I am going through an IVF ICSI cycle at the moment and am thinking I want to test at home before I get the official result from the nurses phone call at the end of my TWW. I am not sure really what day to test at because O will be done surgically and embryo transfer 5 days after...??? I guess I want a test that can be done early but also be quite accurate. Also, I will have drugs to simulate pg in my system for a week after O so I dont want that to show a + on the test before it is real IYKWIM?
Sorry that I'm being a bit confusing but there is sooo much going round in my poor little hormonal head at the minute that it is a bit hard to be clear! I will probably want to test 3 or 4 times, early when I can see the drugs giving a + then a day or 2 later when I can see the drugs gone from my system then again when it should be time for my own hormones to be strong enough to make a +. Which brand is early testing, very accurate and not too dear for buying a lot of????
Thanks for helping ..
Sazz
Thanks so much Monnie,
I am such a dunderhead, I didnt even think to look on BB features!!!!! I will go right now and order a truckful...hehe. The best bit is they are bought online as I live in a small town and dont want to be seen getting them from a store. Thanks a million.
Hey, and GOODLUCK with your pregnancy. Hope all goes well.

I did this after my last FET, I just couldn't wait! I used Pregnew which is 25ul, and got a BFP.
Although, my IVF nurse told me that certain brands pick up very low levels of hcg, which can be deceptive, as most IVF clinics consider a level of at least 105 to be viable. Maybe keep that in mind.
Sazz,
Even though they say dont do it, wait till your BT, out of the two tests mentioned I would go with lullaby ones over pregnow ones. There has been a few girls on here with false + with pregnow.
okies Summer, thanks for the warning. I definately dont want a false one!!!! I also worry about if it is too early or not strong enough but I really dont want to wait to find out from the nurse ringing me at work!
