    OPK (+ve)

Just wondering if anyone using opks (inpregnancy opks off eBay) else had positive opks for nearly 3 days in a row?

I had severe o pain(left side) on cd17 (neg opk) slight twinges (left) on cd18 with a positive opk and light cramping cd19 all across my lower tummy with (you guessed it- a pos opk)

What's happening to me? Am I a freak? Lol

Sorry hon, I can't help with your exact question but I can tell you what worked for us. I used Clearblue Digital OPKs (and I'm using them again now ) which give you a smiley face when the time is right to DTD. Once you get the smiley, there is no need to keep testing for O, just DTD within the following 24-48 hours. There is no guess work, no hunting for the surge, just a smiley face and 'job's on'

They are a bit pricey (cheaper to buy on eBay, mine are from the UK) but so with it IMO.

    Good luck hon

I always, always got 3 +ve opks before i Od.....my 3rd one would always be soooo positive, that the test line would bleed into the next control line cos it was so dark. So no hon, not a freak at all. Youve just caught the beg. of the surge...and the tail end of it. I only ever used Lullaby Conception OPKs.....

The one this morning was negative. I'm pretty sure I o'd earlier than yesterday. All other signs (opain) and cm point to o happening mid way thru my surge!

Hi Mel, I usually get at least two positives - as mbear said, you probably caught the beginning of the surge and just kept on surging.

Our bodies need to make some kind of alert sound or flash a neon light I reckon. Like a billboard over our ovaries: I'm fertile! I'm fertile! I'm fertile!

Now if only wishing would make it so...
