Question Help interpreting an HPT please!!!

Soooo I POAS this morning, and I'm so sure I can see a very very very faint line! I'm only 9 or 10 DPO (can't remember if O is the day you get a positive OPK or the day after?). I really don't want to get all excited in case I'm imagining the line, but it's so hard! Has anyone gotten a BFP this early? With my first pregnancy I didn't test until 12DPO and the line was faint but absolutely no mistaking it. I guess I was more patient then! I'm sure there is a line now, but it is so so faint, there is not much colour to it. But it came up by about 7 minutes, the test says to disregard any result after 10 mins. So it's within the time.

Also I got some mild cramping, like period pain but very mild, about 6-7DPO, my bbs aren't sore but quite sensitive compared to normal, and I've had a couple of dizzy/slightly nauseous spells in the past couple of days. Plus I just felt that this was the month, iykwim?

So what do you think? Is a very very very faint line still a positive? You can only see it when you look at it quite closely. And is it possible to feel pg symptoms so soon?

    TIA, any feedback welcome!

(P.S. Any BB ladies from Facebook reading this, please don't say anything about this on there! Thx.)

You can definitely get a pos hpt this early. Which type of test was it? I'd say maybe test in a couple of days but I wouldn't be able to wait lol. So maybe tomorrow morning? Good luck and hope your time in limbo doesn't last too long.

I won't be able to wait, I'm hopeless! It was a Pregnow test from Fertility Solutions, one of the strip ones. Cheap internet one, but it is 10MIU/ML so very sensitive. And it's what I used when pg with DS so seems reliable!

Oh I've also been peeing a lot more, especially at night! TMI!

I'm with you, I wouldn't be able to wait. Why don't you splash out and get one of the digital ones. You can do them any time of day (but I would hold your pee for a few hours before) and they say "pregnant or not pregnant" so no second guessing with faint lines.

    I'd be hopeful

With DD2 I got a BFP at 9dpo and it was super feint....

I got a very very clear positive 10po this time. But it was using first response early test. I can't recommend them enough, so if you don't want to wait a few days till testing again... run to the supermarket QUICK!

I got the lightest of light lines on an IC (10miu) at 9dpo, tested on a FRER same pee and the line was much clearer, I say get a FRER and see what it shows. I am really sceptical of IC's now as I tend to get tonnes of evap lines.

Thanks for your replies everyone! Ha ha Phoenix, I wondered if any of you might guess!

Well, true to my impatient self, I went out and bought a Clearblue from the chemist (not digital) and did that one and another of the internet cheapies about twenty minutes ago, and they are both positive! The result from the internet one came up faster this time, slightly darker but still quite faint. Though it's definitely there! The Clearblue is also very faint, but I think it might be 25MIU/ML, anyone know? The internet ones are supposedly more sensitive. But it's enough of a result for me!

    So excited!

Thank you! Yes, I think maybe I'll go get a digital one tomorrow because DH is being annoying and saying he can't really see the line. I think it's just because his eyesight sucks!

And congrats to you too, Schonell! You've been in the TTC thread, haven't you? I was stalking the other day, and contemplated joining, but too late now!

Thanks everybody, your support means so much, as ever.

Congrats, hun. A line with colour no matter how faint is a BFP.
