    First Response - Evap Line?

Has anyone used a FR hpt and had an evap line?

I took one a few days ago and *thought* I saw a second realllllllly faint line but just thought it may be my eyes playing tricks so put it in my drawer. Just went through the drawer to put it in the bin and it the line has darkened - definately pink, not white/grey like normal evap lines...

Just wondering how common it is for FR to get evap lines?

I still have another test in the drawer so I'll probably take it tomorrow morning and see what it says, but just thought I'd ask..

it was before 10 min and after 3min.

FR hpt's are very reliable. I use them too. If it comes up within the time frame they say on the pack then I would consider it a BFP () but if it's after the recommended time frame I wouldn't even look at it and throw it away....

Try again tomorrow - good luck!!!!! Sounds hopeful!!!

I had an colored evap line on FR, so it can happen. I re-tested and I was negative on another FR. Crossing my fingers yours isn't an evap line.

They do take a while to come up. And the one I used for this pg was capped straight away and the line has stayed exactly the same shade as when I first weed on it, after taking the full 3 minutes to get to that stage.

Sounds like a BFP to me.......... but test again tomorrow anyway!

nella, I really hope this is a BFP for you (assuming that's what you want!) but... I am an avid POAS-aholic and have had several coloured evap lines on FR which turned out to be BFN. That's not to say you're not UTD though, hopefully you'll get that clear BFP soon!

    Thanks for your replies

Just took another test and it looks like an evap line - this one did the same thing, line appeared as soon as the pee was drawn through the window, but this one has no colour to it! Seems strange to me though, I didn't think an evaporation line would appear that way, thought it'd be after the time lapse?

Think I might try a different brand from now on..

Nella, that's strange that it is happening like that..... another good one is Discover One hpt's..... they are also really reliable. Good luck!!

    Thanks Shanti and Cassius.

Didi honestly, I have no idea.. I'm on the pill atm and skip the sugar pills so I don't have to deal with mother nature.. I've been so tired for about a week now and have had a constant headache for the same time so just wanted to test JIC.

Kawazuki, I assume so, only bought them a week or so ago. Didn't think to check though!

Didi, I've been on this pill well for over a year now and have skipped the sugar pills the entire time, And haven't ever been this tired or had a constant headache like I have had. No idea whats happening, nothing in my life has changed so I can't think of why its happening...

Honestly, I would love to be pregnant. We're getting married next year so are going to wait until then to try but wouldn't mind falling pregnant beforehand either..

when you skip the sugar pill to many times it cann affect your body as it gets clogged with the utuerus lining. and your body gets confused about it all.

they reccomend ponly skipping it for 3 consecutive months.

Thanks, yeah I should probably allow my body to do as it made to do for a few cycles and see how I go.
