I have. Got a BFP at 12DPO but m/c. I have also got numerous evap lines and have not being pregnant. I also got a BFP at 10DPO but it was an ectopic pregnancy. It can be difficult to interpret really early as to if its a faint BFP or an evap line. One of my evap lines also come up within seconds literally when another test was BFN. AF arrived soon afterwards.
The OPT I have found to be more reliable then the pregnosis HPT. In saying that they have laways showed me a BFP before AF was due but I didn't completely trust them until another HPT confirmed it also.
Its a light coloured line often not the colour of a positive line but more like a shadow. It usually comes up after the 10minute recommended time frame. Thats why if you recheck a HPT that has looked negative after the recommended time frame some then look like a faint positive. If it comes up in the recommended time frame even faint then its a BFP. However I have had pregnosis look like a very faint BFP when its actually a BFN. You can post a pic if you like. A line that generally shows up on a camera is a BFP its very hard to get a pic of an evap line as usually they are just not dark enough to pick up. Good luck.
thanks.
we dtd 7 days after AF and i had the weirdest feeling that night. i think i talked myself into symptoms too.i wouldn't have even ovulated anyway but got my hopes up and tested 10 days later. of course BFN. i was hoping someone would say that brand was really bad and it took more than 10 days to pick up anythign.
sigh.
I wouldn't be concerned you have missed the boat this cycle. If you BD 7days after AF your unlikely to ovulate till later unless you have a really short cycle (like 21days from AF to AF) so your likely to only be ovulating now or a few days ago making your not 10DPO. Sperm can live up to 7days in the right environment so even if you didn't BD close to when you O there is still a chance there are enough still there to fertilise the egg.
