Just wondered if your not pg, does a evap line always show on these particular HPT's?
The reason I ask is that today I am CD53 and did another HPT - Discover using FMU, I didn't wait the 10mins as I was just too tired (5.15am). A very, very faint line showed up. I think it is a evap line, DH is convinced it is a +. (you can't tell him otherwise). Any ones experience with these tests, I would love to hear.
Don't quote me, and I may be wrong, but I though evap lines only turned up if you checked the HPT "after" the time allocated that they say?? That is what I thought anyway. That is why they say to disregard any result in a test if you left it for longer that the test stated. I would do another test tomorrow morning (maybe not so early LOL!) and see what you get then. Good luck!!
Yeah evap lines are if you leave it too long and then check. When u check in the first 5 mins it should be right (or 10 mins, whatever the test says).
Good luck!
Ann,
An evaporation line should have no colour to it or be a bit greyish. An evap line does not show up within the testing time. I would be very surprised if discover had an evap line - I used them a lot and never got the faintest of anything in the test section of the test.
An evap line will remain. It does sound like a positive test. Do another on Monday and then you should know for sure...
Well, did another HPT this am (discover again), not FMU though - nothing, not even a hint of a line, I'm guessing that either
1. yesterdays test with FMU was a very, very feint +
or
2. today nothing showed up because I didn't use FMU
or
3. Yesterdays was - and just an evap line.
I have never seen an evap line before on any of the tests I have used, and I have used a lot. I must admit I am a POAS addict.
Hello, Ann. How are you going? Did you retest? Any news? Hope all is well and that you're just keeping a low profile because you're waiting for darker lines before announcing your BFP!
