OPK's and Breastfeeding.

Can you use OPK's while B/F or does B/F make the results unreliable?

If you can use OPK's while breastfeeding which would you recommend?

My cycles are irregular as a result of the B/F so I was think of using OPK's for a whole cycle to see if I'm ovulating. Do you think this would work? Is there any other way to tell if I'm ovulating?


On a side note what do you think of Oracle Fertility HPT's?

You could try using fertility friend and temping?

As for OPK's I highly recommend the digital ones, they cost more but certainly saved my sanity as to whether is was - or +

The pee on a stick OPK's NEVER worked for me regardless of BF. I did happen to buy some of that Preseed Lube that came with a saliva OPK and the first day I used it I saw "ferning" which happened to be on CD15. We dtd the next day and well, you can see the results in my ticker I also did a saliva swap CD32 which was also AF's due date and saw "ferning" again so had a feeling I was utd. tested and yep sure was. Now IF I read it right that hopefully our timing was spot on for a baby boy (even though I still think its a girl).

I should say the I believe BF had hindered our efforts to fall pregnant but I was not prepared to wean just so I could fall pregnant.

SO yeah, the POAS OPKs I had no luck with but the saliva one I did.
