Which brand do you use?
What amount do you usually pay? (IF you test regularly you'll know lol)
Do you prefer the ones you use for a reason?
Where can you get them? Regular chemist?
I have wasting money on tests so I thought this would be useful
First Response. I just can't live without them in my drawer! I usually buy a couple of three packs when they're on spesh at Woolies. $15 for a 3 pack is the usual.
Have also used internet cheapies, but I hate them. The ones I have now, I paid about $7 for 20 tests or something. Apparently they're very sensitive, but they are STILL not showing my bfp, while the FR showed it on Thursday at 11dpo.
Have also used Pregnosis, at $7 for 2 sticks, didn't think much of it.
Have also used Crystal Clear and Clear Blue, but for me, First Response is my number 1.
I have used First response Digital, and the Early ones (non digital) and have been very pleased...the digital did give me a false negative though which scared the pants off me (as I'd already had the bfp confirmed).
My overall favourite though is the Confirm tests from Coles.
They come in a box of 2 for around the $10 mark....super easy to read, sensitive enough that I got my bfp at 9DPO.
I purchased some of the Lullaby Conceptions ones, (the early super sensitive apparently) and I didn't get a positive result on them until I was over 5 weeks pregnant!!
I bought the bulk early pregnancy tests from ebay, they work out be like 30c each or something... I've been really happy with them! I got my last BFP 10DPO so they did detect it really early and it was acurate. I used those ebay ones for 16 months and did HEAPS of them and never had an evaporation line either even when it was left sitting there negative for hours. I got 2 other BFP's from different pregnancies at round 12DPO because I didn't test any earlier. I will only ever get the ebay cheapies from now on, why waste your money. a BFP 10DPO is early enough for me
First response for me, this week I got a clear BFP at 9dpo. I pay about $15 for a 3 pack, either from the chemist or the supermarket.
I have used the internet cheapies the last couple of months. I did get a BFP at 8dpo but it was one of those 'are my eyes playing tricks on me??' lines! I do like that they never give you a false positive. Today, 11dpo the line is very clear. They would be fine if I wasn't so impatient!!
I have tried every brand on the market and always come back to FR. I haven't tried a digital though... ooohh, I wanna try one of those!!!
ETA: My dates have been confirmed by US and my BFN with FR was feint at 8dpo and clear at 9dpo.

i reckon for the times when i became a serial POAS-er i couldnt go past the coles brand crystal clear (2 pack for $10) or the pregnosis brand (which was like $7 for 2). the pregnosis one showed a VERY clear BFP at 11 DPO for me, while the FR and the Clear Blue Sensitive were either not there (FR) or very feint (CB).
so my experience has been good with the cheapies. got BFPs both times really early with the coles one and the pregnosis!
My local Priceline is the cheapest place to get HPT kits from. I usually buy the Pregnosis POAS ones, I get a 3-pack for $9.99. I've used Crystal Clear (the pale blue triangular box with the fancy POAS complete with cap and window?) and prefer it just for ease of use (sensitivity is about the same, maybe a little less) but it's a bit more exxy so Pregnosis all the way for me
I like the 1st response instream tests. I like them as you can test as early as 6 days beofre your period and they are very accurate. I buy mine from woolies in a 3 pack for $16.00. GL!! Xx
