    gotta know?????

    are evaporation lines very common????

    i think may have gotten one but just what if it was a +hpt!!!!

    From my understanding as long as you read the test within the 10minutes or whatever the time on the box says and keep them flat it is a +ve. If its after that time frame could be either so bin it and do another, and next one dont even look at it after the 10min just put it in the bin HTH.

    it was after the ten mins but im not sure if it came up straight away and i didnt notice till later or if it came up way later...... was only at 8 dpo so it would have ony been faint id say even if it was positive, am going to test tomorrow at 10 dpo but im really interested to know how common evaporation lines are or if its really rear.

    Would hate to think how many hpt's I've done (or more so the $$$ spent) but I have never had an evap line. Actually I have but it was one that I did that was BFN and I put it in a drawer and forgot about it only to find it again about 2 months later and it looked like it had evap lines then. Good luck I hope it's a BFP!!!

    An evaporation line is just that. After 10 mins or so the urine evaporates off and you can see the line on the test that will reveal the positive. If there is no line there within the test time limit then read it as negative.

    well now i have to agree as iv taken another test... two days after the last and it was a deff BFN.
