It's possible though it may just be too early to tell. Wait another 3-4 days and if still no AF try testing again. Hope you get the outcome you want![]()
Hello, my period is 2 days late now. I have a regular cycle. 2 dats after having sex i had cramping for the remainder of the month.which is abnormal for me so I thought that maybe I could have been preg. I still have cramping but no period. I have done 2 home preg test now but both are negative. always so hungry.yest i had a small amount of white sticky mucus. could i be pregnant?

Sometimes our bodies are just weird - I totally missed a period, as in the next one came at the right time, and there was a negative HPT each week when I tested. But then again, what you're describing is similar to this positive pregnancy that I do have...:babydust:
yeah its strange. thanks very much for your comments. Hopefully some good news in a few days. Ive never experienced a late period like this so will just wait and see.
Im going through exactly this right now, please keep us posted wishing you a lot ofand
that you get your

unfortunately i got my period.I had a feeling that is was coming. Goodluck to you though!!! fingers crossed for you![]()
So sorry to hear about AF's arrival.
Still waiting over here, I will probably do another HPT tomorrow morning (AF will be exactly one week late then) usually before AF arrives I start getting crampy etc but havent had any of that yet either![]()
wow that sounds like maybe some good news for you!!![]()
let me know how you go
good luck!
Hey Smile, Well did ANOTHER HPT this morning and still BFN (not even a faint line)why cant you just show a positive result you silly little stick!
I have had to re-schedule the Dr appointment now from tomorrow to next Thursday, because I have another appointment booked for next Thursday too, figured it would be easier to take one full day off instead of two half days and at least that way if AF is going to make her arrival I figure she would definitely be here by that time next week!?
Argh its so painful wanting something Soooooooooo much and not having any power to change it.
Well now i am very confused, officially over a week late, last night I had the smallest amount of light pink spotting when i went to the loo but then nothing else after that. Just come back from the toilet and had some spotting on the toilet paper (when i wiped) but then nothing else!!! Argh might be going to the dr sooner after all....
I just done a search on the net for this and this is something I have come up with, i hope its the first bloody paragraph and not the last!!
You might be experiencing "breakthrough" bleeding. Pregnancy hormones cover up your usual hormonal cycle, but variations in those normal cycles still go on. Some women notice breakthrough bleeding at around the time they would usually have had a period as a result of this "background" variation in hormonal levels.
Also, in the very early stages of pregnancy, there can be a day or two of light bleeding as the fertilised egg implants, and the placenta starts to develop. Implantation bleeding is thought to occur at about the same time as a period would have been due. This makes it hard to tell whether it's implantation or breakthrough bleeding. However, it's thought that breakthrough bleeding rather than implantation bleeding is most likely to be the cause.
Occasionally women will experience a cervical erosion (a softening of the cervix), which can cause bleeding in early pregnancy. Bleeding can also be associated with a vaginal or cervical infection or a polyp (a benign growth). These three conditions could all result in some bleeding after intercourse.
Sometimes it's not possible to decide what has actually caused minor bleeding.
It's always worth talking to your midwife or doctor about any bleeding in pregnancy. Often light spotting is not considered a major problem. But spotting or fresh bleeding, especially if it's accompanied by abdominal pain or cramping, needs immediate attention, as it may be the sign of a miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy (where the embryo implants in the fallopian tube rather than the womb) or, in later pregnancy, a problem with the placenta.
Smile - sorry AF arrived, for next month :babydustpink:
tan -for a :BFP: for you!!
AFM - my AF is now about 2 weeks late, POAS last weekend and was a :BFN:going to see if i can remember to POAS in the morning and
for a :BFP:
Hey Treenie how did you go!? Did you remember to POAS...
So i crumbled this morning and did another HPT and got ANOTHER BFN, but still no sign of AF other than light colour on toiler paper.
I cannot get into the dr until Wednesday next week anyway, (Monday is a public holiday here in WA) soo will just keep my appointment for Thursday afternoon and go from there, and that still leaves the week for the witch to arrive, which hopefullyshe wont!
hey tan nope still goti hate that lonely pink line!!!! was thinking of testing again over the wknd but had a few emotional days and would not have been able to handle another
for you that AF stays away!
Aww treenie Im so sorry another BFN, i hope the next test is a BFP for you xox maybe if still no AF just pick a day this week and do another HPT I found that is easier, than just doing a HPT every single day and having a BFN result breaking my heart each time.
I also am not doing another HPT until dr's appointment on Thrusday - I still have no sign of AF yet, but still having the irregular brown spotting on the paper, no cramping or anything else so thanks for the hopes I will need everything to get me through this week until i get to the dr office!
Devestated to report here that AF showed up about 1/2 hour ago...never really thought we could be so lucky...never mind, time for round 2!![]()
aww tan im so sorry AF showed!
i dont have any spotting at all, so im really not sure whats going on with me. yeh just going to pick one day and test and then if still -ve will go see the dr.
for you tan for next month
