Oh I'm excited too!!! Just perusing the diary - my best friend from Canberra is coming down to visit and leaves on that Tuesday, 28th Sept - I have a clinic to do Wednesday afternoon - so anytime after that - the 30th etc I'm good - that weekend might be the go - fly to Melb Friday 1st - come back Monday! Michelle - how would that suit you hon - could you do a night away with George over that weekend?
Jayne - guess it'll be tough drinking those ****tails, 'spose we could let Michelle have 1 or 2 mocktails?

Hmmmm - just trying to negotiate with the parents when they would be likely to come down over that weekend. It is the NRL grandfinal on the Sunday and we have tickets already (family tradition for the past 20+ years - heading onto 40 years for the parents!!!). I just need to have someone to look after O&L who could do it overnight and this could be a plan. Friday morning leaving here and coming home Saturday evening might be workable. Will keep on *organising* if that suits others ;)
And Lee - the Mantra apartments could be an option for us to stay in :D
ETA Although just having spoken with my mother, she may not be able to get off work and won't know until the last minute whether they will be there on the Friday or the Saturday :rolleyes: But a day trip on the Friday or Saturday is certainly an option. Come hell or high water I will get down there. Even if I have to take them all with me!!!!!

Michelle - I like your determination girl !! I'll most likely bring my little man Flynn, so if you have to bring all 3 (sounds like a fun flight NOT) but having said that - I will help you with all 3, we can get a large apartment! Something will happen - though it would be nicer for you to have a mini-break with George xo

Michelle - We will ALL pitch in & help with the kiddies if you are thinking of bringing Oscar & Lily as well. I completely understand you trying to leave them with your parents, but completely understand you wanting to bring them as well. Whichever way you decide, we will all be here to help. :) (I'm just so in love you are even THINKING of coming to Melbourne!).

OMG.. OMG.. OMG.. I am so incredibly excited too!!! How fantastic!! I'm happy to offer my place for a catch up... although if it happens on the Saturday it might not go down so well with DH - LOL. And... I'm not sure where we'll be as we're hoping to move by then.. but there's lots of time to work out the details!!! I'm just so excited!!!
Well we're back from Fiji and I'm sooooo tired. Was a long night last night.. Luke was a bit of a nightmare on the plane and we didn't get home until just before midnight, then of course, Luke woke at 6.30am this morning!! Anyway, it's all worth it... we had such a great time. Bloody cold again now though.. it's not nice coming from such warm weather back to the freezing cold of Melbourne.
Anyway, no time for more... need to get to bed. Hope everyone is well... I'm so glad we've got something exciting and wonderful to look forward to now!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. We're flat out here atm... those on FB will have seen that it looks like we're moving house!! I'm still in limbo land.. someone wants to take over our lease in TWO WEEKS!! Eeeekkkk!!! We've put an application in somewhere too, so hopefully it all works out.. it's just a matter of waiting now to hear from them! I've got another house to look at this avo too, so we'll see what happens. It's so stressful but I'd rather go through it now and not closer to the arrival of bub. So good news really. Best thing is that my Mum and brother have just booked to come over in two weeks time.. so they could very well be here to help us move.. which would be soooo amazing (for us... not them.. LOL). So I'm desperately trying to get hold of boxes and newspaper so I can start packing!!! Also trying to sort out kindy for Luke as we were accepted in somewhere but now that we're moving... it's going to be too far to travel, so I've started the calls to see if we can get in somewhere closer... sooo frustrating!!! There's even a Kindy a couple of doors up from the potential new house.. which would be incredible... but apparently there's no chance of getting in there now... grrrrrrr.
Anyway just thought I'd pop in and give an update.. not sure how much I'll be around in the next few week.. LOL.. although I'm sure I'll need the distraction!!! LOL.

OH MY LORDIE, I"m having heart palpitations again........ FREYA, you NEED to whisper this seductively in his ear tonight, preferrably after you have dtd & he is all in 'the zone'. This is how I 'earn' all my perks :shhh: I might just need some 'calm' pills if you are coming to Melbs as well, so many girls that i love in one little room, eeeek, it's almost too much to imagine!

Well, I am working on options B and C to enable me to get there sans O&L. I love them dearly but a night away would be heavenly when it means I get to catch up with the girls. G-man is challenging enough tonight (HAB is critical to peace and tranquility)
If parents are not an option I am looking at other possibilities. Freya - come along anyway ;) And Deb - do you think you could manage an overnight trip too :think: Is there an option for looking after *most* of your babies for one night / two days?? I think the whole concept of making Jayne pee her pants is making the evil side of me think evil thoughts :lol:
Just a few more days until we are solo and considering the past few nights it should be interesting. We are currently germy and possibly infectious so it is even more entertaining!!! BBL *mwah*
