Chloe.. i can totally relate
ETA: i had no idea you're moving to France!! how exciting!
Just for once I would like to sit down and have a snack without having to give half away to the seagulls, I would like to drink a latte without being stalked for my latte foam, it would be nice to use my computer without small fingers trying to push the numbers, it would be lovely cooking without having to worry that my 'helpers' will get injured, if there happens to be something interesting on TV at 6pm I would like to watch it without a ****ing melt-down about The 'Sisoms', .
And while I'm at it I would like to be able to use the bathroom without being harassed and to have a shower without being called upon to adjudicate in a dispute.
Imran, it is winter. In winter pants are not optional and I'm sick of asking you to put them back on 20 times a day and picking them up in the garden.

I can totally relate . . .
On a lighter note - if you figure out how to do all these things without having to share, and without putting your kids up for adoption, don't forget to let me in on the secret![]()
Oh yeah I can relate!
But what I feel bad for is that I swear my DD is sick of sharing even more. Seems like you have two little Dudes similar to mine. I have 1 overbearing, overdemanding toddler who thinks he owns me and seems to think there is some phantom umbilical cord still attached. I also have a 7 y.o. gorgeous girl who very rarely gets to share me as her little brother is always in the waySo combined with frustration I have an enourmous amount of guilt!
If only we could clone ourselves...
And sorry for the me me me part of that post...
Oh i totally relate too, especially about the simpsons. No advice but total sympathy!
Oh man! I could add to that list. I did have a bit of a chuckle at the optional pants LOL. I would suggest you have a nice hot cuppa tea, but I don't think you'd get all of it![]()
It's like you've written a post by me!
I'm totally with you.
Joining this club! Actually cracked it today at a cafe as I was so tired of "letting her have a taste" of whatever I am eating. You have picked yours, I have picked mine, deal with it!

Ah good to see I'm not the only one
I'm sick of having my bowl of muesli for breakfast minus the dried pawpaw, dried pineapple and almonds as DD1 picks them all out while I'm eating it!!
I know how you feel.
*nods head in sympathetic agreement*
Ooh, may I have membership to this club?! I feel you, hun, mine's exactly the sameAnd it's so much more frustrating now that we have DD2 needing attention as well, and DD1 has magically developed selective deafness - I'm so SICK of hearing the words, 'Emily!' 'No!' 'Get down from there!' 'Don't poke the baby in the eye!' 'Put it in the bin!' and so on and so forth coming out of my mouth (I'm sure the neighbours are just as sick of hearing it too lol)...
I find myself hiding in the laundry to gobble down snacks so DD1 can't steal them from me. I slept on the bedroom floor, with no blanket, the other night because she decided she wasn't going to sleep in her own cot and there was no room in my bed for DD2 and I while DH and DD1 were sprawled all over it. DH and I don't eat dinner until 9:30 some nights because I can't stand DD1 being under my feet while I'm in the kitchen, so I put off cooking until she's down for the night.
It's insaaaaane :/
*big hugs* no advice on this one... just totally get where you're coming from and you have my sympathy!!![]()
ohhh chloe, I too want membership to this club. I either eat when Ava is preoccupied with her own food, or not at all *sigh* bigto you babe
Oh babe, I am SO there with ya!!!!!![]()
Me too!!
Cai - your two sound very much like mine!! Although mine are younger at 4 and 18 months. Scary when we have another due in a few short weeksI just hope DS copes with the competition
I always feel soooo guilty about water usage on a Saturday morning when I lock the bathroom door and try (sometimes I succeed) to have a long hot shower without an audience.
