At what age should children be expected to share? I have a (just turned) three year old and a fourteen month old. I am now trying to explain sharing to my little one and am no longer letting her have everything she wants, when she wants it. Is it too young to be expecting her to share with her big sister? Most toys they are ok with and I am able to negotiate with them both. But when it comes to the toy pram, neither of them wants to give in to the other one. My big one will happily hand it over when it's time, but if my little one wants it and my big one had it first, I end up pulling my little one away from it, kicking and screaming. I thought of buying another one, but then I decided against it, and thought they need to share with each other instead.

So, is she too young?
