    Perfume Party...Food?

Ok so am hosting a Perfume Party this weekend (YAY!) only prob is i cannot think of what to do food wise; well i have some things set out but i need to BBQ something or cook something; so far i have
    • potato salad
    • garden salad
    • pull apart bread & a cobb loaf
    • individual chocolate mousses (mousses? is that right?)
Obviously i can do cheese and snacks like that but i thought i need something to have with the lunch, any suggestions? Preferably something thats not too involved as i want to enjoy the party too, maybe i should have cold chicken? Ham? Just a platter of lunch meats? Aaahhh. Im stuck lol.

Are you having it as a "Perfume Party + Lunch"? I had a tupperware party and made up a whole heap of stuff and most people had eaten before the rocked up, so I was left with a whole heap of leftovers!

I personally would just stick with finger food that you can get going before people get there, so once everyone is ready for something to eat all you have to do is plock it on the table Make some ham and salad samwiches & cut up into triangles, curried egg samwiches, my mum made up a batch of her sausage rolls (*drool*) And I made a dip platter for everyone to pick at (carrots, broccili, cellery etc and a couple of nice dips to dip it in...) You could even do your cold chicken to have with your salads.
    Just keep it simple!

When i invited people i said Perfume Party + BBQ + Booze hehe. Its at 1pm so thats around lunch time? Hhmm the salads and everything mentioned are easy as they're cold foods so can be done ahead of time; might just add chicken and ham to the mix and that will do.

THANKS Teagz!! My mum makes sausage rolls too!! So yummy!
