Dd3 is obsessed with guinea pigs. So I'm considering getting her some for christmas.

But we go away a lot. Usually not for more than a few days at a time, but in the few weeks after christmas we'll be away for up to a week at a time. Camping so can't really take pets like these & there'll be no one in town at that time to keep an eye on them.

So I'm guessing if I was to get some I'd have to wait til we get back, but then there's christmas next year too.

Hmm. I'm thinking I've answered my own questions hey... Does anyone else go away & leave pets home? My cat doesn't come anywhere & the dogs depend on where we go. I usually have someone around to watch them though.
