Poor Stew

Stew is our rabbit (no I didnt name him) and we just found him outside with the girls carrying him around. hes back in the cage now but looks very stressed is just lying there panting. I hope he is ok will keep checking up on him but will leave him be

I don't understand...what happened to him? Is it hot there today - what's the panting caused by. Is he dehydrated? Did you give him a cool spot and water?

The girls were carting him round the yard so a little stressed by children

if u have a frozen bottle of water or ice pack or similar in ur freezer but that in his hutch, bunnies pant when theyre hot, and a hot bunny is never a good thing because they dont sweat, and if he's too hot for too long, your kids may not have stew to cart around for long!
