first time on the pill

hi all its my first time taking the pill (levlen ed) and im a little confused.
the packet says to begin taking on the first day of your cycle (which is today) and to take to the pill in the red section labelled with that day,
that seems fine except its sunday and the pill in the red section labelled sunday is the last in the red section and it just seems a little odd that i should be going right onto the normal(non sugar) pills right away,
if this makes sense please let me know.
i dont really have anyone to ask

Well wait till tomorrow when you can start the red section on the monday (I assume that's the first day of the red section?) one day wont hurt.
