    Hi there Day,

I live in the inner west and would be happy to catch up. My son is only 4 months old so I'm still working on sleep routines and therefore it can sometimes be tough if I'm out for longer than say 3 hours but I drive so I could pretty much meet anywhere (depending on parking). I'm 34.

Hi day, I'm not in Sydney but just wanted to welcome you to BB! This surely is a place you can receive lots of support about all things motherhood..and some things not! Hope you find a group in Sydney you can meet up with..have you tried asking your local council MCHN? that's who we registered with for mothers group.

    thanks for reply

    hi roses,
I just wrote a long reply and lost it so will have to be short but sweet this time! It would be great to catch up, Do you know of any parks close by darling harbour? M y car is still in Adelaide so im limited to walking everywhere ( i dont like public transport) I fully understand about needing to be back home for bubby. Mine is quite wingey and Ive taken to hibernating in my apartment just so i dont need to make excuses about whats wrong (theres usally nothing wrong) i just feels safer to b home and deal with the constant crying but i know i need to brake this cycle especially when im lucky enough to be in this beautiful city! let me know where and what days suit u. early morning probably best for me as i walk my older kids to school around 8.30 thentheres an hour or so before avalon goes to sleep (which is rare these days anyway! ) cheers, day

    Hi Day

Welcome to BB and to Sydney!

I'm close to you - but unfortunately I'm not in the market for any parent meetups just yet!!

I just wanted to suggest a great new park near you that you should check out; there's lots of play areas, parking is good on weekdays for your meet-up visitors, and some great cafes a short walk around the water. It's the 'water police site' park,

"The site is located at the end of the Pyrmont peninsular and is bound by Harris Street, Pirrama Road, Pyrmont Park and Sydney Harbour". Car access is via Pirrama Road (which is off Harris Street.) There is parking along Pirrama and a parking area is further down.
