I got off my butt and joined a mg today problem is it was the last one as all the ladies are going back to work...There were 3 of us new ones and we have kind of been talked into taking it over.
Its a free venue and I guess it is only as hard to run as you make it so dammnit! now I have an extra responsibility, although its about time I had a reason to do something other that just survive.... Its through Playgroups Australia and already has toys, coffee stuff, venue etc so just have to get a few more members...It was originally for under 2s but Im not sure if anyone will care if your lo doesnt fit that criteria...PM me if you are interested
Hi Erybery, The 3 of us have decided we were a bit railroaded yesterday and Id actually like to join a mg before running one IYKWIM? so we are going to join an existing one that meets on Tuesdays at the Floribunda Community Centre in Glenmore Park. Its at the same venue as the other one anyway This one on Tues 10am runs through Playgroups Australia, would you be interested in coming too?

nell2010 Come along! its Tuesdays 10am at the Floribunda Community Centre in Glenmore Park. The coordinators name is Tamsen, and the number for her is on playgroups australia website I probably shouldnt post the number here but the playgroup is called "little wonders". My name is Natalie and Ill be there with my Daughter Violet so come and say hi! I've only been once but there are some nice ladies there and I like that its close to my house too lol.
I see this is your first visit to belly belly, its a great resource and has helped me with lots of questions I had about being a mum as I dont have family here in the area.
Of course not, why would it? There are a wide range of babies and mothers, you might be the youngest there Im not sure but so what if you are? Its an open playgroup so no age restrictions on you or bubs haha. Also there has just been a heap of new ppl join so we can all be new together
oh good i dont care if im the youngest lol im not like other 20 year olds lol oh im really excited now! lol i dont really have many friends as all my friends are hitting the clubs and such so weve more or less lost contact :P anyway thank you so much! i will see u on so tuesday!
My hubby and I are currently looking to buy a place around Glenmore Park/Penrith area. I would love to join your play group as soon as we find a place. I can't wait wooohoo.. At least it will make the transition easier for me as most of my family and friends does not leave around that area. I hope we find our home soon so I get to meet you all lovely ladies..
