The coucil's run mothers groups thru the community health centre. They run for about 5/6 weeks.
I am a first time mum to little Daniella (born 18/12/08) and am hoping to make some friends.I live in prospect. If anyone feels like coffee one day let me know!!!

I've been in Syd for 1 month now and I havent been able to meet anyone yet. No one from this thread has replied. I have made contact with another mums group but they meet up in the morning which doesnt suit me coz my little one sleeps until 12pm. If you want to meet up after 12 any day Im keen.

I'm 22 years old and just had my first baby 2 months ago. I would love to join a group where there were other young mums.
I have attended a group at castle hill and all of the women were older and didn't really talk to me lol.

Hi tisha197! Did you have any luck? I've never attended any groups but am hesitant too as well! I'm 27 and had my first child 3 months ago. I live in castle hill too!

I go to one at 10.30 am on Wednesdays at the Hills Centre, just off Showground Road. Its called Mainly Music, and they do half an hour of music and half an hour or so of morning tea/free play. Mostly made up of young mums and kids from 2 months to 4 or so. FYI it's run by a church so a couple of the songs song about God, like how he made you/loves you

my bub Isaiah really likes it (he's the 2 month old), he really enjoys being sung to and being bounced/danced

Mainly Music is so much fun - My girls LOVE it!
