Mollie - I made the mistake of moving here when DD was 2 weeks old. I have met so many people since then, but they all inevitably go back to work at some point. As a result I know alot of people, but only have a couple of real friends, who incidently I met here on BB. I definitely need more friends. Being a SAHM it is essential for my mental health :P
I love all the advice that I have been getting and positive feedback about everything..
My DH and I have been TTC for 12 months, I started Metformin about 3 months ago, and have my second acupuncture appt tomorrow which I am enjoying. So hopefully we get a BFP soon. But its nice to know that I am not the only one out there, and there is something like this that supports women!
Im looking forward to meeting some of the BB women... they all sound so lovely, and it will be good to know that they are all over Aus especially as DH and I move every four or so years.
the preliminary roster is out on the computer but its not locked in, and could still change, so not offically out yet, but should be by the end of the week!!

Just thought I would let you know that Lollipops (brand depot) is doing $3 entry for kids on 25th, 26th and 27th July (sunday, monday and tuesday) - if anyone is interested in saving money. The vouchers can be printed off their page on facebook. If we do go on any of these dates, I am happy to print off extra vouchers for people. Adult entry is still $3.50 but that also includes a free drink of your choice.
Misty - Yup he sure is. So far Canberra and Darwin have been our only postings. But we could be issued with another one next year to QLD. Hopefully we will have the choice to stay here though, coz this is where all my family are.
The 25th is good for me, and the 26th I have to take DH to the airport as he is going away for 3 weeks, and then the 27th I have to take my inlaws to the airport :/
Well the 25th is out for me, (and this is going to sound silly) because I am going to be at lollipops. One of my other friends asked a group of us to go then. Am happy to go either the monday or tuesday - or anyother day - The money doesn't bother me, so it really is what suits everyone else. Just thought I would let people know about the promotion anyway.
By the way we don't have to meet at lollipops. There is a playcentre at mitchelle (kid city) and DFO (monkey mania) and one in tuggeranong - but I think most of us are northside??? We could always meet up for a coffee in a shopping centre near a play area (like in belconnen near donut king), Or a Macdonald's or somewhere else.

I go my roster, I actaully got it on Friday..but I'm only just getting here now =P
I have thurs 22/7 and fri 23/7 off, then i have wed 28th and thurs 29th off. do any of those days suit anyone?
after that i do have 2/8 and 3/8th off (Starbright I have the little man's bday off, for a meetup, or anything else you are planning =) )
after that i have weekends off, but next one is DH bday, and the weekend after that i'm going to the goldcoast for a long weekend with a few girls I trained with =) going to be good!!
Because I propose wednesday the 28th June at Lollipops. 10am sound good?

Star Bright - I have just realised that it is my little man's first birthday at the begining of August too (12 August) so it will definitely have a birthday theme But I agree 'no pressies'. Definitely don't need for any. I might talk to lollipops about arranging a cake though
