What day suits everyone best (mon, tues, weds, thurs, or fri)?
There are coupons for $5 child entry to lollipops for the month of june on facebook at the moment. :) If you cann't find them let me know, I will post a link.
I can't do tues or friday any other day is fine
It depends when i get booked in for my csection!! i will know the date in about two weeks- but it will be around the week starting the 28th- so i might be busy :P I will let you know~!

I've lived in Canberra before for about a year (child free) and when I was a child myself, so I am looking forward to it with our DS. We've got a house in Conder (through defence housing) that I've only seen on the Internet - so here's hoping :pray:

Well I hope to see everyone on Wednesday. I will need the destress, I have an assignment due on monday and an exam on tuesday, so am looking forward to relaxing on wednesday. :)
Id love to come on wednesday but i have another appt at the hospital.. wont be able to do anything until after bub is born. Im sure then ill want some adult interaction :)

Is it 10am we are meant to be there? I am going past Fyshwick on the way to grab DS's new maxi rider!!! (FINALY LOL lucky nothing has happened baby wise yet!!!) I found out that Brand depot is like down the road from where i have been driving DH to work for weeks- so i know where i am going!! YAY!! BONUS- just hope the side trip ti Fyshwick doesnt throw me off.... hmmmmmm
I will bring lots of vouchers. I will be at lollipops at 10am (unless I'm there earlier ;) but I think it only opens at 10am). If I am not outside, I will be inside (obviously :lol: ) But I will keep out an eye for those who need a voucher out the front. For those who don't know me, I have short brown hair, glasses and usually three screaming kids hanging off me - oh and a red P&T's pram with toddler seat.

It is usually during the week. I know that I am usually busy most weekends with family commitments. Having said that, I am such a desperado I would bend backwards and leap through flaming hoops to meet up ;) so it really depends on what suits the majority.
If you have a suggestion as to date, time or place anyone, please don't hestitate to put it forth. I usually just chuck something out there because no-one else seems to want to take control. I am very flexible and easily pleased. (am I coming across as completely needy and desperate yet? :lol: )

Speaking of which.. as of next week i will be home pretty much 24/7 as i cant drive... if anyone feels like dropping by i would be soooooooooooo happy to see you!!!! :)

im from canberra (southside) and am due to have my 1st bub on the 3rd of october. Am soo happy to finally find other mums in canberra, look forward to meeting everyone once my little boy is born
Misty - Not at all needy and desperate! I can understand the need for friends though... Things change when you have kids, in my case though, all my friend disappeared when they found out i got married... Im looking forward to meeting everyone, hopefully it can maybe be on a weekend one time, as I work full-time

Mollie - I made the mistake of moving here when DD was 2 weeks old. I have met so many people since then, but they all inevitably go back to work at some point. As a result I know alot of people, but only have a couple of real friends, who incidently I met here on BB. :) I definitely need more friends. Being a SAHM it is essential for my mental health :P
I love all the advice that I have been getting and positive feedback about everything..
My DH and I have been TTC for 12 months, I started Metformin about 3 months ago, and have my second acupuncture appt tomorrow which I am enjoying. So hopefully we get a BFP soon. But its nice to know that I am not the only one out there, and there is something like this that supports women!
Im looking forward to meeting some of the BB women... they all sound so lovely, and it will be good to know that they are all over Aus especially as DH and I move every four or so years.

Just thought I would let you know that Lollipops (brand depot) is doing $3 entry for kids on 25th, 26th and 27th July (sunday, monday and tuesday) - if anyone is interested in saving money. The vouchers can be printed off their page on facebook. If we do go on any of these dates, I am happy to print off extra vouchers for people. Adult entry is still $3.50 but that also includes a free drink of your choice.
I think i'm rostered on those days =( but still going off the computer roster not the offical one.
But dont not do something just because of me, we can always throw in another meetup =) I don't want people just doing stuff cause it suits me =P
so make use of the cheap entry!!!
