I'm planning on going to the expo on Tuesday and have Louise's number so will hopefully find everyone. We might make it to the markets on Friday too as we've not been there before (I'm in Woden). Misty I will PM you as well for backup number. I will just have my youngest, Amelia, with me on Tuesday.
We are off to Playschool on Sunday and one of my friends got a group of us front row seats to Wiggles. I think we are more excited than the kids LOL.
Playschool!!! How do I book??? Damn I gotta work sat 30th.
Tinsel, just opening your pm now. :D
Grr just lost my post... i am a doofus. Anyway, not to worry.
Misty i will PM you my mobile number now as well; can u please PM me yours too? Hopefully everyone will find each other. Looking forward to meeting those of you who i haven't met yet, and looking forward to seeing everyone else again too. :)
PS - Playschool? Sounds awesome - how much are the tix?
i'm looking forward to meeting everyone :)
DD isn't into Play School she's obsessed with Handy Manny & Mickey Mouse. Oh when are the Wiggles in town, how much are tickets? she's recently taken a liking to watching them so if possible i'd like to take her.
Play school is only $14.50 a ticket you have to call kids promotions 1300 788 028 to book- they are having a few sessions on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st, when you call just ask them whats available and what suits you. It is in Erindale (not 100% sure where that is, but i will know soon!)
Wiggles will be here on Wednesday December 8th and for them you call ticketek they cost $32.50- they are on at the AIS Arena, i havent booked my tickets for that yet, there are two sessions 10am and 1pm, i will be aiming for the 10am one unless its booked out!
We have had a spanner thrown in the works.. DS is a bit sick, i am hoping it will pass by tuesday, he has a bit of a temp and a cough and a runny nose, but he is still running around as normal, so not sure if we will make the expo... fingers crossed he will get over it quickly!!!! I wont be sending him to day care tomorrow so he can stay home and rest up and hopefully he will be ok!
ok well how long does the expo go for? and what is it again? im booked in to see my doctor at 10am so i might have to miss the expo bummer but friday for the markets is great for me. Is it belco markets again at 10:30am. Can I pls have someones number and then i can PM my number to you so I can text to meet up. Im on the southside and belco is like sydney for me lol.
thanks Joanne for that info lol. I might see if I can come after the docs, but usually my doc runs behind time and by the time i drive to belco, I might miss u all. Blake is still a little young anyway lol. Next year ill go if I miss this one. I gave u may number as well.
If anyone else wants my number just PM me and ill give it out, and vice versa
No problem Deana :) see how you go at the doctors on Tuesday, if we miss you we'll see you on Friday at belco markets. Thanks i got your PM containing your mobile number.
where at belco markets are we/do we meet?
Oh No! I feel dreadful so don't think I will make it tomorrow but hopefully I'll be right for Friday. I will meet you all one day :) I had fever all night and it feels like I am swallowing razor blades everytime I swallow and just overall feel yuck. Amelia has green snot every 5 minutes too. Poor Monique is very fine and wants to get out to do things.
Have a good time tomorrow.
There is a play area at the Belco fresh food markets (the roof of it looks like a big mushroom). It isn't hard to find, it is near all the cafes. If you cann't find it, just ask someone to point you in the right direction.
Tinsel: oh no, hope you're all feeling better soon
misty: ok that should be easy to find on Friday, thanks for dropping around yesterday much appreciated :)
Joanne we can head over to the markets together on friday if you like :)
Tinsel – you poor thing, I just got over that same thing but still have a bad cough. I hope you get better soon.
Misty – Thanks, im sure it wont be hard to find
I let my sister know of the meet up on Friday as well as she has a little one also plus she lives in Belco. I gave her this link, so hopefully she poops in soon.

Yay ... playgroup expo was fun!
Nice to see you again Misty and nice to meet kitten2b and jce0810.
Bria has completely flaked out now, so i think i will go and have a nap too before picking up her big bro from preschool.
Hope to meet more of you on Friday at the markets.
Shazz :)
home now and exhausted, all kids have asked for drinks and bed - yay I might just join them.
kitten2b: did i miss your pregnancy announcement??
kitten2b & misty: it was lovely to see you again
KaileysMummy & littlescottishboy: it was lovely to put a face to a name.
Sorry we didnt get to spend much time talking, i was bit overwhelmed with being out with both kids for the 1st time. Sophie fell asleep on the bus on the way home and didnt wake up until we were almost back at our front door. Now she's drawing as i promised she could because she didnt get to at the expo, Ben's in the bouncer and i'm expressing and feeling exhausted!! early to bed tonight hopefully
Ohhh Kitten i didnt know you were pregnant!!! Congrats!!! :D :D
And Joanne it was so lovely to meet you, your children are just gorgeous!
I am absolutely exhausted after today! early night for us too and i have another big day tomorrow.. shopping day! urghhh. Oh and the doctors..
Am really looking forward to friday :)
no pregnancy announcement just yet, I have finally made a ticker and joined the belly buddies group thats as much as I can do atm, still scared that too much announcement could lead to disappointment again. Maybe I will when I get past the 8 week mark.
I wish I could have gone to the expo. I have wanted to go for years now. Still not well :(
LOUISE OMG!!! Congratulations. I read your new signature block and then had to read it again and then once more just to make sure!!! Here's hoping for a sticky bubby for you and crossing fingers for a boy - woohoo!
Kitten2b OMG congrats! Sending lots of positive sticky dust vibes your way matey :bellygrowing:

we'll be getting the same bus to Belconnen that we got on Tuesday so might be there a little early.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again that i've already met and meeting some more BB ladies :)
Boo hoo, I am work today.
Was great to see everyone who was able to make it today and nice to meet some new faces :)
Sorry i wasn't in the most wonderful mood... such a CRAPPY day (other than our BB meet-up, which was the best part!). DH really p***ed me off this morning, kids were bickering and fighting and he just keeps on sleeping in and expecting me to deal with it, then gets up finally and says, "what's up with you?" DERRRR!!!! And so damn tired lately as well.
Then bought an expensive bottle of fish oil ($55 - yikes) that the rheumatologist yesterday told me i had to buy... and then i accidentally dropped it when we got home! NOOOOOOOO!!! Glass was everywhere and fish oil was smeared all over the kitchen floor. Add to that two very curious kids, one mother who had absolutely had it by that stage, and you have a Mummy who wishes she could either start today again or fast forward it till tomorrow.
Anyway, the BB part of the day was great, so thanks for that, girls... i definitely needed it today.
It was good! I wasnt in the best mood either, lack of sleep and an annoying DH will do that to ya!!!
We will have to do it again soon!! I was thinking of inviting everyone over to my place one day- we have a massive play room full of toys and we could all sit down and relax, but im not sure how the buses are from suburb to suburb, so it might be hard for the girls busing it- but if anyone wants to check it out- i am in Evatt in kellway street, really close to Copland street, maybe suss it out and let me know!!
xoxox
Kat - you know I am always up to visiting your place. If we make it either a thurs or fri then I can always give a lift to one adult and one child/baby.
Been thinking about other places that might be alright to meet up:
Bunnings (both the one in Belco and the one in Tugg have a play area and cafe),
MacDonalds (I know the Charnwood one has a good play area you can see easily from the seats inside, not sure about the other ones around: although then the kids might be pestering us for junk),
Kid city (mitchell - downside is the cost and not sure about buses),
any of the parks now that the weather is warming up - although I'll be honest, not my first preference as my youngest likes to run away,
I liked the Belco food markets and would definitely go there again,
anyones house (whoever is willing, just not mine ;) ),
Lollipops (ones of my favs, but it does get expensive for people, I know),
Any other suggestions???
LSB - I know what those days are like, bugger on dropping the oil. I cried one day because I had just run out to the shop to buy a large jar of vegemite (running out is a major disaster here), and then when I got home I dropped it on the tiles and it smashed - and of course then I had to put up with whingy kids who were upset because they had no vegemite. I hope things get better for you and the kids are on their best behaviour.
