My name is Yvette and I have two boys. One is 4 (Jayden) (off to school next year) and the other has just turned 1 (Lachlan). I am looking to get together with some mothers that live around my area just for play days as well as coffee (I love my coffee). So if you would like to meet up, just send me a message back. I also forgot to mention I don't drive so as long as we can meet either at Strathpine/BRidge or Chermside (which I can get to by bus) or many of the local parks around our area, its not a problem. I have just joined this site and am in Strathpine. I have 2 girls-13 yrs and 10 mths, I am almost 37 and looking to meet other mums similar age with little ones as most of my friends have children that same age as my eldest daughter.

Thank you for your message it was nice to hear from you. This week probably isn't good for me but if you would like to get together the week after that would be great. Have you always lived around this area or just moved here? That's a big gap between your children, do they get on? My older son seems to be in one of those moods today hence me hitting my head in a brick wall. Oh well, he is down having a sleep at the moment hopefully he will wake up in a better mood. I have 2 weeks of study left and then I am free so would be better for me to wait until that has finished and then I dont feel guilty if I go out!! I work 3 days too, but am off on Wed's and Fri's.

My girls adore each other and have the best time together which is great. I never thought I would have such a huge gap between children but that's how it turned out.

I drive so am happy to head over to Bracken Ridge to a park somewhere if you like, let me know what is good for you.

Thanks Yvette, fridays are good for me too, will let you know when I have finished, hope to be finished by next weekend, but who knows!!

I am doing my real estate license so nothing major, but just time consuming. I have been doing it for 4 months in between working and being a mum so looking forward to having my time back...my house is in need of a good clean!!
