    Mothers Group in Adelaide?

Hey everyone, i'm looking to be apart of a Mothers group. I've tried finding some but i have not been successful. I'm a first time Mum and my son Ethan is 5 and a half months old. I don't mind being in a Mothers groups where there is month gaps inbetween children. I live right near Marion Shopping Centre. I do not mind travelling so please om me if anyone knows of one.

    Thanks
    Emily & Ethan

    Hi Emily,

    Welcome to BB!!

Have you tried contacting CYH or Playgroups SA? They will know of some groups near you.

    Hey Emily,
I am wondering if you ended up finding a good mothers group in the southern suburbs? I live in Happy Valley and my little boy, also Ethan, is 11 months old.

    Hi Krush

While we were in Adelaide we went to Old Cottage Playgroup in Happy Valley. The number is in the white pages.

    Hey Kirsty,
I did find one through Child and Youth Service which started on the 17th Oct, the only problem is that Ethan is 3-4 months older than all of them since i waited so long to join one. But i have found a baby gym which is held at Trott Park community centre next to Trott Park tennis courts. It's a gym all set up for babies, Ethan really enjoyed it. At the end of each session we all sit in a circle and sing nursery rhymes to/with your baby. I hang around a little bit afterwards and talk with some of the Mums and also my close friend goes also. It's on every Wednesday 12:15pm to 1:15pm and it costs $8.50. The babies range from 4 to a year old. Let me know if you are interested in going and i'll keep an eye out for you!
