Playgroups in Faulconbridge/springwood Blue mountains

Hi i have just moved to the blue mountains near springwood and was wondering if there are any playgroups around for a 2 year old and a newborn? I don't know anyone here and it's getting lonely.

No luck yet i did hear of one at faulconbridge at the salvation army... I think i will give that one ago when i have this baby.

ok I have a 4 week old and am also looking to make some new friends don't know many people around the area!! I know there is a playgroup that meets at Winmalee on a Friday and there is also a New Parents group run by the community nurses on a Friday morning at Springwood between 10am - 11.30am and at Glenbrook on a Monday at 10-11.30am. Where did you move from?

I'm due in 9 weeks. Congrats on the new bub! Hmmm... I'm not a new parent so not sure if i'd be able to go to that one as i will also have my 2 year old.

I move all over the place cross fingers i'll be here for 3 years! I l was living in newcastle for 1.5 years... Moved here at the end of september...

Haha i don't even know 1 person in the area lol! My neighbours are all older than me and their kids are all in their teens...

I'm 23 DH is 33... He's at work 5 days a week...

Yeah I know the feeling I have one neighbour that has two older boys (both not at home anymore) and the other has 3 boys who are still in school but she works during the week, so I know what it's like. I previously lived around Blacktown area and moved here in Aug 08 and just mainly worked and didn't really get a chance to meet many people around here so now I have all this free time and don't know what to do with this spare time (not that there is a lot of it)
