Ihave only just put Zander down - so hope to be there just after 10 - having said that Iwill prob jinx him and he will sleep fo ronly 30 mins! :rolleyes:
We may be a little late...stil in PJ's Jaylan just woken so needs a feed and then i will get ready and be on our way but it takes about 35 minutes to drive there......... will be coming though see you all soon :D

monthly sounds good to me, the only day a realy can't do is Mondays. It was great to meet up with everyone.

It was great to meet up and put some faces to names. SOrry we were so late will try and be on time next time round.
My DD is at preschool thurs and fri and she is home with me every second mon and tues.
I am happy to do most days but if DD is coming it will need to be on a mon or tues. i am happy to meet monthly also.
DD just had her 4 yr old needles and she didn't even cry or whimper i was so proud of her. DS has been really usettled this arvo but hopefully that means he might sleep through tonight :crossfingers:

Gosh we have been quiet on here lately. Hope everyone is doing well.
Isn't it nice to have cooler weather rather than that horrible heat wave we had the other week. The only problem is that Jaylan had no winter clothes so i had to go out and do a winter shop (nice and expensive but thank god for no deposit laybe and Big W special).
Well my kids are growing fast and i cannot believe that my boy is nearly 3 mths old where does the time go? Brearna started preschool last week and absolutely loves it which is great. She had no tears and wants to go back everyday.
Sami - How did your DD go at preschool? Did she like it? How is it having one child at home 2 days a week? I am finding it nice as you get so much more done.
Sweetpea - How is Reagan? Hope you are all well.
Misty - How are Nathaniel and Angelica? How you feeling with the pregnancy? Hope you are all well.
Virgo - How is the preparing to move going? When do you move again? Hope your pregnancy is going well and you are taking care of yourself.
Well best be off to have a shower while Jaylan is asleep for a few minutes. When are we planning on another meet up? Where shall we meet next time? Who's in for a cuppa and a chat?

Giselle breezed into preschool like i thought she would - its actually 3 days now cos she has daycare one day as well!
I am pretty sure Zander is teething - yep early, but I can see the lines under his gums, and his gums are mushy this morning with some runny nappies -screaming (!), and loads more drool and sore cheeks .... hmm
gotta go and see if misty rain has stopped to get the 3 days worth of washing on the line - how quickly it mounts up!

I am allways up for a meet to, only real day I can't make it is Mondays.
Reaghan is doing really well, she did a few forward crawls in the last few days, so won't be long and no stopping her.
Trac, I had to get Reaghan a few warmer clothes as, what I have from the older two are way to big still. My dh dressed her the other day in 000 clothes and they still fit, little small but fitted.
SamiH, Hope Zander goes ok with his teething. Yeah washing piles up heaps here to, just when I thought I was in front another load to do.
Traci - I just spent this past weekend laybying winter clothes to Jelly and Nate. The change in weather caught us out, I tried to dress them in warmer clothing, only to find none of what they owned fit anymore. Strangely, there is a huge difference in size between the size 2 DD wore last winter and the size 4 she is in now :lol:
Hope everyone is going well, I am sitting on the couch, trying not to notice that my house currently looks like a bombsite and that Jelly is tearing up a couple of tissues into tiny little pieces and stacking them into neat little piles on the floor. My theoery is that if I pretend that I don't notice it, I don't have to get cranky about it and clean it up. :)
Just some trivia - Giselle's nickname is Jelly too - think it came from Giselle jelly belly - and then just became Gelly ....:

LOL. I often get funny looks when I call her Jelly (she usually only gets Angelica when she is in trouble). She got that nickname before she was born. Mum and I were talking about what her name would be shortened to (I was saying I would call her Angel), when mum said to be careful, someone may shorten it to something horrible like "jelly". I had never even thought of that as a nickname before, and somehow it kind of stuck. :lol:
Well I am going to try and join a playgroup tomorrow morning. There is only one in Macgregor and they are pretty full already (have 19 people and can only have 20), but they said to come along and if no-one else shows up the spot is mine, and if they get more people who are interested they are going to try and start up another - although I think there are venue issues with that. Still, if it doesn't work out, apparently there are about 14 out at Kippax.

Playgroup went well. It is quite a big one, which means there were so many people to talk to that I will be lucky to remmeber anyone's name's - but they were all really nice and the kids had a ball too.
As for meeting up again - when would suit everyone else? would you all want to meet at the same venue? or at a different one?

Sweetpea - Yeah for Reaghan, crawling such an exciting stage but the joys of making sure things are no on the floor especially with older children. That is great news about Reaghan though.
Misty - Glad you had a great time at playgroup. Sometimes so many people can be overwhelming but once you get to know a few people everything will be fine.
Sami - How are things with you? How is Xander going? Haven't heard from you for awhile hope all is going well.
As for meet up maybe we should look at somewhere a little more central maybe. What about Brand Depot or Kids City somewhere like that. I don't mind travelling as long as there is something for Brearna to do so that she won't harrass me while i am having a cuppa. What Tuesday the 3rd as i won't have Brearna so i am happy to meet over in Belconnen again if you want. What other days is everyone available? We can do Monday, Tuesday (every second with Brearna, this tues we have Brearna 24/02) Thursday and Fridays (no Brearna as she is at preschool). Wednesdays are out for us unless it is in the afternoon.

Looks like we have all come to an agreement that Tuesday the 3rd is the next meet up date. Maybe we should just meet at the same place as last time it will be easier for Misty with her 2 children. So why don't we say same place as last time at 11:00am ( as we all would like it if Sami showered :lol:) Looking forward to catching up for a cuppa and chat.
Well Brearna is loving preschool which is nice and we have had no tears in the mornings and she is really keen to get there. (it took a few months of tears and clingyness at the last centre) i think she is liking the structure. My brag time: Brearna is the only child in her class at the moment that is starting to write her name she is able to do the Br, so proud and Jaylan is starting to laugh (when he is in the mood and only for me of course) which is rather sweet. He has had a bit of an upset tummy today so very unsettled, thank godness that Brearna was at preschool really.
Sami - Wow Xander is teething early but as they say every child is different and reach milestones at different stages. You poor thing having a clingy unsettled bub it makes it so hard when you have so many things to do but i am sure you are doing a great job.
Sweetpea - Glad things are going well with Reaghan, hope you are doing well also as well as the rest of your family.
Misty - I am so sorry that i keep forgetting you don't have a car hope you can forgive me. How's the pregnancy going? When are you due? How are your two beautiful children?
So is it just the 4 of us meeting up this time?

Now, the play area has moved to the other side of the stage near the Myer entrance cos of reno's on the travelator thingie - same level etc.
Missy, you rely on hubby to drop you off - so what time do you come in with him?? My hubby not travelling now on Tuesday so I can have a shower earlier ;) and still get everyone to where they need to go - so does earlier suit you? Don't want you to just be aimlessly loitering aroudn the shops with 2 kids and preg if you don't want to be!! I can be there anytime after school drop off ......
Tuesdays Giselle in day care so just Zander and I too.
Any time suits me. I will be in there from about 8.30 - lunch time. I will go to the gym if I have too much free time :) (I probably should anyway, considering how much I spend on membership :lol: ) so if you all want to meet up earlier I can, or I am happy to meet up at the same time aready suggested.
Why don't we make it 9:30/10am, that way Misty won't be hanging around the mall with 2 small children trying to keep them occupied. Does that time suit everyone???? Unless you do feel like going to the Gym and using your memebership???

There are still a couple of tables and a bench seat, and then the stage seats too - lets meet at the play area first and see whether we can nab something ... earlier will work out better for me too cos giselle has a fairy party mid arvo so i can then get zander home by lunchtime for a sleep (fingers crossed!)

Sami - Yes my sister does live here in Canberra. She actually lives a 5 minute walk which is nice for our kids and us as we get to see each other most days. My DD and her younger son are 3 weeks apart so they are the best of friends (most of the time). When i lived down the coast i missed her terribly as we are very close. It is definately a bonus having her so close.

I just got back from the show. I managed to spend a heap of money, despite not being there long - It cost $20 just to take us all on the ferris wheel, which was the one ride that Angelica just 'had' to go on. But it was pretty fun. The kids loved the demolition derby, Jelly was amazed that they were actually trying to crash into each other on purpose. :lol:

Of course! We are meeting around 9.30am at Belconnen Mall tomorrow near the kids play area that is temporarily in front of the Reject Shop lower level. We might have to adjourn to a cafe if we can't grab enough chairs :)

Having said that - I might have a glitch with tomorrow, but will try and rearrange - something on at school that we have had notice of only today :rolleyes: ...
