Hi All
It was great catching up yesterday and B had a great time running around and playing on the equipment.
Just throwing a date out for our next meet....how does 16th June sound. I was thinking of maybe trying Kids City in Mitchell as it is a little cheaper in ALL areas eg: food admission etc plus i know there are some toys for the bubs to play in too so they can get out of there prams. What does everyone think?

Sorry I missed you all on the 19th! Elodie is teething and things were particularly difficult yesterday. We had tears, no sleep the works! No teeth to show for it and doesn't look like they'll be here any time soon. Went to the GP and all is clear so it looks like it's teething that is going to be ongoing! :( JUst when things were looking up (she was falling asleep without being rocked in her own cot etc..) she has started to cry when we leave the room again. It's so hard to watch. Any tips on getting thru this stage would be much appreciated! I hope to meet up with you all again at some stage soon though.

Do they have MCN's there too? I have heard they are the only IRL shop in Canberra that have some to touch - is that right do you know.

Yes the shops does have some mcns not sure which brands etc, normally the shop is open mon-wed but she is opening for us to be there thursday.

Looks like the 16th might not work for everyone and unfortunatley the 23rd is not good for me as i will not have B. What about Tues 2nd June (which is only a couple of weeks away) or 30th June (a few weeks away).
Sorry Misty i forgot about buses for you. please let us know if it is not easy to get there and we can go back to the orginal play of lollipops again.

It really doesn't worry me when but i was just trying to work out a Tues where i had B so she could go to KidsCity and play with A and G. But honestly anytime that suits everyone would be fine.

Why don't i throw this one in.......what about a Wednesday? B is not doing her swimming lessons this term and we are now able to do Wednesdays. What are everyone's thought about Wednesdays????

Well here I'll put out two options.
Wednesday - 24th June (This is my preference)
Tuesday - 30th June
How is everyone going? It has been interesting here for the past couple of weeks with DH away. I have the utmost respect for single parents - it truely is the hardest job in the world. Especially without a car liscence and no buses near my house, this last two weeks I have been wondering if maybe I should work on getting my liscence.

Wed 24/06 is good for me too (if baby doesn't decide to arrive too early!) I'll also have my mum from France (she's coming on the 18th), her English is rather limited but we'll manage!

Sorry Sweetpea, couldn't make it today at the Brindabella baby shop, got a terrible sore throat and just has to rest, feeling a bit better tonight but can't wait for tomorrow as DS and DD will be at preschool and childcare so I'll have some time off...maybe...

Hi Everyone,
I'm still here even though I've been a bit quiet!! I have been trying to make the catch ups, but I've stopped posting that I'll be going though I feel bad when I try and can't make it.
The LO is going OK. He had been a bit better. We went to Prince of Wales for an endoscopy/colonoscopy earlier this week to check things out, but he has been power vomiting nearly every feed and refusing all solids since :-(. Its awful to say but I *hope* he is sick with a bug, because it will be awful if we've regressed :-( He seems well (no runny nose or anything) other than the power vomits though.
Anyway, enough about power vomits ;)
I DO hope to meet you all, and I have the date and time written on the calendar!!

I hate to be a pain in the butt, however is it possible to meet up somewhere else???
Brand depot? Belconnen? one of the other major centers (ie, civic, woden, tuggeranong - even qbn or DFO)? I am having trouble arranging getting to and from mitchell. But I know all of the major centers all have reliable bus services. I really want to meet up with everyone, especially after missing out last time - but I don't want to put anyone else out.

That's fine with me too. What about we just meet at Lollipops (Brand Depot). The kids all seem to enjoy it there and everyone is familar with it too.

I am furiously study for my exam tomorrow morning, atm. I haven't done much study for it and am worried how I will go - I have to pass the exam to pass the subject. So fingers crossed for me.

OK - I cant get there at 10 after school drop off I need to see if Z man will have a 30 min sleep - I will be there around 10.30 - having said that he will prob wake at 8am and therefore wont even need to sleep until 11!!!!

sorry ladies, would love to join but I am sick as a dog at the moment. I've had this cold for a month now, and can't get read of it. It's even worse now, i spend most of my nights up as I can't breathe! Can't take any medication due to baby (2 more weeks) and I am totally exhausted, will see how I am around 9 but can't promise much...I've been up since 4:30 and can't go back to sleep! Any suggestion for a poor pregnant lady with a cold??? Have fun at lollipop!
