    playgroups in Canberra

    Hi my name is cate and I am looking for a playgroup in canberra, we already attend one playgroup but I am looking for another one that focuses on education I have googled it but that was no help. Any suggestions PLEASE?!?!

    Hi Cate,

    I know the Orana School at Weston runs a Steiner philosophy based playgroup if that's the education focus you mean? Playgroups ACT would also be able to help you.

    Hi Cate

    Sorry not too sure about playgroups, there are lots of them on around the place, and I'm sure Playgroups Australia will be able to help.

    Also, have you heard of Paint and Play? This is done every friday, alternating between a park in Richardson and a park in Kambah and they have all this educational play equipment set up. The staff from the Child and Family Centre in Tuggeranong run it and are there to help and its' FREE! You can ph them on 6207 8228 for more info, they will post you out a flyer with all the dates and times on it!

    Also, if you're looking to network, have you seen this Canberra member meet-up thread?
