Been an extra long weekend for me hubby had car thurs fri so home days for me, lachlan is sick and DH is installing an alarm/keyless entry to the car so havent be able to go anywhere...aarrgghhhh!!!!! On the bright side got a phone call that our pixifotos are ready to be picked up :clap: bout time i say!

Yeh wendesday is pretty much only day i can do anything, Monday will just be quiet day, Tuesday Xavs at kindy....wendesday nothing, thursday xavs at kindy and i have to pack.
Mornings are better for me as my dad is my taxi and he doesnt like going anywere in the afternoons unless he has too! So if 9:30 suits everyone?

Tanya, how are you? I hope everything goes smoothly for you. From what you have said, it is probably best for you and the kids.

I have to gloat. Guess what!! Adam slept through last night. Went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 5.30am. How cool is that! Hope this is the start of sleeping through but we shall see. I am still exhausted as I kept waking up waiting for him to cry.

I am not sure about meeting up this week as we have a couple of hospital appointments for Cooper. One is the follow-up after Cooper's surgery and the other is for his eyes. Will try and make it.

The weather is fantastic this morning..although hubby is probably p'ing the neighbours off :cryinglaugh: he is out mowing the lawn....he was itching to get out there since 6am as our boys are very early risers especially on weekends...

Lachlan is still running high temps but they go down with a dose of panadol so thinking will just see how he goes today.

Courtney thats awsome about adam sleeping through, my wee man lucas sleeps through every night "touch wood" since about 2mth...its my 22mth that wakes ALL night long.

Anyway very boring day today had to cancel our drive today :( always next week i spose!!

Having a great day lol, just got a phone call from Stephans (hair dressers) asking if id like hair extionsions put in free of charge cuz its a trinee doing it woot, back in March i had em put in and they cost me $700 and these ones are free so excitted...Plus to top it off the Guess handbag ive wanted for ages but just couldnt bring myself to spend $160 on a lil bag i found on ebay for $30 haha yahoo!
So im stoked atm and thought id share with everyone :)

Gosh Im just loving this weather, gives me energy to do all the crap I couldnt be bothered to ordinarally... We've been told if we go to groote we can only take about 36cubed mtres, thats the size of the sea container.. so not only do we have to cut down about 9cubic metres but theres a ****e load we have to take over with us ( coz its a island everything comes in on a barge and it can get pricey so its easier to put it in the sea container if we can get it to fit) so im going through the house looking at what we really dont need... its frustrating!!
Lollipops wed.. ill have all 4 being school holidays, ill be more sure tomorrow but at this stage i might, be good to get the kids out the house and doing something. ben goes back to work wed am.
We went out to the pub last night for tea and thought it would be nice to eat outside in about 10 min we were surrounded by a swarm of mozzies, rori has about 8 on her face. i couldnt believe it.
i used to have african braids in my hair when i was younger, i loved it, id love extensions but atm i wouldnt be able to care for them..i find it hard enough to shave my legs hahahaha.. when are you getting them done tanya?

Don't think we can make it on Wednesday. DH and I are going out for tea tuesday night ALONE, and mum's looking after Declan on Wednesday for most of the day. Can't wait to be able to get a full nights sleep without waking up at 6.30am! Then I am having lunch with a girlfriend on Wednesday. :dance:

Hey Tanya, that sucks about you and your partner, bit of retail and beauty therapy never hurt anyone. If you're going to brissy, make sure you go to the DFO on Airport drive. I reckon it's pretty good for outlet shopping. Very envious about your handbag. I haven't bought any in ages, I have started buying more stuff for Declan and less for me now. When I start work in November, I think i may have to have a little splurge on myself though!! Although i am getting a haircut tomorrow which will make me feel a bit more normal. :lol:

Anyways, best be off before Declan wakes up, watch a bit of crappy tv by myself. yay.

Hey Girls, i wont be making it tomorrow as we are all still a bit sick and thats not the kinda place to go, then every other kid in town will get it. :doh:

So anyway Olliesmum it does cost to go, depending on age of children kids upto 1 are free and children 1-3 non school day is 9.90...i think or school day 7.90 and it also costs 3.0 for an adult but you get a drink voucher in return...i am not sure on other kids prices but everyone just remember its school holidays so is the non school day price.
You also need socks to play :)

HTH a little.....i hate being sick when the kids are sick, they just seem so much more needy!!

Tanya i hope the hair works out how you want and if i dont speak to you before have an awsome time in brisbane.

Gosh I didnt realize it was so pricey for school holidays, so i dont think ill be going with the 4 kids, it will cost me $30 for entry alone!! we are really tightening our belts for our holiday in nov and also the move to groote we need to buy alot of things to take to the island... if we go... i know the job is bens but a small part of me is still a little hesitant... so i dont think we will be going tomorrow.. i think i prefer the gated parks in holidays!
im of hubby has his medicals for the island.. hope everyone has a great day

Hey everyone, how was everyones day?
Mine was been pretty good went shopping this morning and took ex with me, bought my Dad that movie and DP Ex bought Xav a police helicopter lego set, he loves leggo atm but mum has a massive bucket full of it from when my brother were kids, and the age is 5 but DS doesnt put stuff in his mouth etc so grandad had the joys off piecing it together when we got home :lol:
While we were out today we grabbed some kfc and ate it down palleranda it was lovely then we went for a drive along the strand then out near the entertainment center as there was 3 huge cargo boats docked so we took DS to have a look...
Then i went and stocked up on baby for for Indy so i dont ave to worry about buying it in Brizzi then hired out Made Of Honour (dont no when im going to watch it tho) and this arvo my Guess bag arrived yay so happy lol :cryinglaugh:

my hubby and i plus ollie went to see wall-e the other day. It was great. I won't tell u much about it cos it'll ruin it for you. I felt it had a good message for kids. Ollie cracked up a bit and we got looks from people to say what are you doing taking a baby to the movies for, but oh well.

I've been ok, just been holed up in my house getting stuff orgainsed for the wedding.
Did a personal training session at the gym on Tuesday and am so sore!! I was meant to have another one today but I moved it to Sunday coz I don't think I could do it in my crippled state!

Gosh, it is getting hot so quickly here!! i have heaps of washing to do but am getting fried hanging it all out!! Anyway, I should be ironing clothes to go out, am also waiting for some new furniture - woo hoo, they just rang and will be delivering it in half an hour!!! yay!! Not so great news for us. DH's Squadron has just been told that his Squadron is shutting down next Christmas so we may have to move again. Just when I was feeling settled and looking forward to finding a job next year, it is all in limbo. If there was a definite decision about where people are going it would be better, at least I would know what it happening then.

Good here arrived in Brizzi about 8 this morning had a great flight both kids slept the whole way :dance: but i feel very unwell :(!!! The weather here is alot diff to home lol got off the plane and it was 17 degress so a lil "fresh" lol... Just visited my grandparents today and had the best pizza for tea YUM..am off to Tweed Heads tomorrow (nsw) for the engagement party ~woot~...

Well, I have been a busy bunny for the hols, I had relatives (ARRRRR) come and STAY A WEEK!! My dad always said - Fish and Guests go off after 3 days, well, it is SOO TRUE. I am exhausted after playing tour guide and having big smiles plastered over my face even when I first wake up (Warning - not a good idea to chat to me in the first hour...)
Anyways, I took them alot of places, my mum bought our family a yearly pass to Billabong so we can go back anytime we want. I also took her up to the Tea Rooms, they are a surprisingly really good day, I think it is suited to elder people who want good food and a relax in the bush.

I am supposed to be going up to Cairns on Monday but I am going to cancel... The car is playing up, and I don't feel right, and then everytime I turn on the telly there is another fatal crash on the highway. I am also still getting over my cold so I just don't think it's the right time...

Anyways, I have a FANCY DRESS party tonight and I am going as Judy Jetson so I have to find my metallic purple lipstick and nailpolish!!!

Hey.. I love fancy dress, they are so much fun! Bens sister had one for her 21st afew years back ben went as a reverant and i went as the dominatrix nun in pvc! it was awesome! Have loads of fun, take some pics and email em or something! bet youll look awesome and who doesnt love the jetsons? haha they were cool as!
we got a start date for ben, 5th January!! I was abit bummed out at first coz it seems so far away but in 6wks ben has 6wks of that will take us til the end of dec so it will go real quick. plus it means we can leave here and not owe anything ( our lease doesnt run out til mid jan and if we left before jan we'd owe his company now money for relocating us here) so it does work out better to wait and really he only goes away 3more times! The only thing im really stressed about is they will only pay for 36cubed mtre of stuff to go over and anything else we pay for.. i have no idea how big of a container that is.. anyone know?
court, hope your doing okay, atm im really having issues with brodie he has become quite clingy with his teething and its really starting to get bad, poor rori has to wait and im finding i miss her because i havent been spending as much time with her.. the trials of twins.. im sure its going to get worse..

We don't know definitely if we are getting posted yet. There will be approx 40 positions left in Townsville for a different aircraft but there are over 200 people in the Squadron. That is the part that annoys me, as we just don't know.

Anyway, off to do some washing.
