Children aged 5ish When did your child first?

So, if you have a child who is about five years old do you remember when they "met their milestones".
Can you recall when they crawled (proficiently)? Walked? First tooth?

I can't remember much. I can remember the first tooth of my first child because it coincided with a specific date, but I'm super vague about all the rest.

I didn't write it down, and I'm thinking maybe I should have. Am I odd?

I remember the approx ages. Some things happened on dates I can recall because they are important for other reasons (dads bday, cousins wedding).

I could go back through baby buddies on here and get a lot of the info I didn't specifically record so I guess the history is there. Somewhere.

I don't think you're odd. People do things differently. Don't stress about it

I remember (roughly) how old he was when he met his milestones but can't recall any dates or exact ages... I did write them down in his health record book but its in a safe place that I'm yet to remember lol

Can't remember a thing! Can work some of it out by going over past photos, but that is about it. I feel bad a times, but I was never a diary type person for myself, so find I struggle with it with the girls.

No i don't think you are odd.

I have trouble remembering anything from DD1's first 12months (she's 7). My PND was horrendous. I wrote a few things down, but if I really wanted to remember I'd have to go back through photos for dates. I remember she got 11 teeth in a fortnight at 11 months old. I remember the hard stuff more than the good though, which is sad, because that's where my head was.
DS is 4.5 I remember he walked because it was the day before his first birthday. I remember his teeth because he got 16 in a month.
Poor DD2, I hope she never asks me for dates lol.

Not really but I blame that on the amount of children rather than me being slack.

I know they all got their first teeth around 7 months, dd2 was the earliest to crawl, walk and toilet train.

    But that is about it.....

I have a few things written down for DS1, but almost nothing for poor DS2. Sometimes I wish I were better at recording things, but in the big scheme of things it's more of a "oh well" rather than something I regret, ITMS.

I remember rough ages, not dates, for DD1. First teeth, 9 months. Can't remember crawling, was quite average I think. Walked 10 months 10 days.
DD2 - No idea on teeth, but earlier than DD1, can't remember crawling - but she didn't do it long or much, we sort of went straight to walking, walking unassisted 9 months.

Beyond that though, not much! LOL Can't remember how old when they first spoke. ExDH thinks their first word was dad, DD1's was actually ice cream randomly at 11 months, then nothing else for several months. But I haven't the foggiest when either rolled either way or sat up or smiled.... I meant to write it down, but just never did.

I wrote things down and just had a look the other week to 'compare' against DD2. I did remember when DD1 walked because it was a couple of weeks after her first birthday.

    First tooth, 10mths
    Sitting 5mths
    Walking was 13mths I think
    Crawling 10mths

Otherwise I'd have to really think.

    Liebs is 6.5

Crawled at 14-15m, walked unaided at 9m (yes, he walked first after 3m of cruising), first tooth... 7m I think (wrote it down tho), lost first tooth age 5y9m, talked very early... I think Dada was 5m, but vocalising vowel sounds at 17h old and of course shouting "die" at some old people age 4m. "hello" at 3m - just a sound though, not a word-word. Really early talker. Still hasn't shut up. Ever.

I wrote it down and have a good memory. MilL remembers all of BiL's firsts (eldest) and none of DH's: hope I'm not the same with Liebs and Stormy!

I do remember those things. But they were all written down and crawling and walking has been rehashed a thousand times as we've had to discuss my son's development with a million professionals. I'm vague on when he spoke his first word though- I kind of make it up around the time I think it was.

I remember when they all walked and when DD1 got her first tooth (14 months, we thought she didn't have any!), but apart from that I have no idea!
