Question Best way to monitor bub myself???

I am getting super stressed...... it is about this stage in my last 2 pregnancies that my bubbas passed away, and I didnt know it....

I have a check on 6th Jan for this bub.... Isaiah's due date....
    I cant handle it.

I have started to get proper movements, but they are very sporadic.. sometimes two three times a day, sometimes nothing... so of course when i feel nothing for a while, (like today) I am so super scared....

What is the best way to monitor bub at home myself??

Doppler, or some other kind of electronic heartbeat thingy? I dont even know what is out there to get...I need either something cheap or something I can hire.. or my own ultrasound machine!!!

So what do you use, and what can you recommend???

There is a place called first beats where you can hire a doppler like 39$a month. Try eBay too for a Doppler. That's all I can think of lol

We had a little thing-y (I believe that's the official term ) that picks up and amplifies the HB (it came with earphones). It wasn't great until later in the pg though, depending on how your placenta is lying and where baby is. My ob showed us how to position it (and how to tell the difference between my HB, cord pulsing and baby's HB). I picked it up for about $10 at a baby market, I think it was from the US originally. If I thought it would be useful I'd send it to you, but I don't remember it being much good until after 20 wks.

    It's understandable you're anxious.

Wonderful! Just be careful not to get your thing-ys confused. They don't all do the same thing.

I have the little doppler and found it worked great but only if DH found the heartbeat.
