Thanks dory :) I'm around 5 weeks. Wow can't believe how fast time has gone! Tell dh you want another :p
Klee thank you :) aw thanks how is your Bub going?
oh how exciting! are you super tired or sick yet? I found it tough, but well worth it. I would't toilet train while preg thou, all that bending... we had to get a stool for me to sit on. But we got a two step stool from bunnings and Han now uses it for washing her hands at the sink.
Gemma is really vocal and mostly placid. Loves her big sis. It's so awesome to see the sibling relationship grow. She is sitting but not crawling or rolling. She smiles a lot, just not when the camera is out.
Han is well. Really lots of words and thoughts. She talks a lot. Loves singing. So cute. Challenging at the mo, with some mega tanties....90 mins the other nigh foloowed by 45 minst the next morning. But maybe it's also how we managed it or didn't that made it worse. She has already learnt divide and conquer. DH and I were arguing as she was screaming. She was in her room and not with our arugment. So we have decided on a strategy and it worked yesterday. First try to distract, to avoid the melt down. Second walk away from the theatrics. Third time out. DH has agreed to go to marriage counselling as we are have some bad habits and attitudes towards each other, and I want to get in early to try and avoid it getting worse. It's not bad just not as good as it once was. We've a lot going on, but still. I don't want my marriage to end. Han has been night waking. Usually not crying. She's in her big girl bed now and 50% of nights she gets out of bed between 10.30pm and 1pm. She will either come and see us or just sit quietly in the lounge room. Well maybe only quietly because we get to her quickly. We are going to have to work on that. Then it usually takes her ages to get back to sleep and she doesn't usually sleep during the day. She is day toilet trained but can't always get her undies down. We are going to work on night training. Might as well if she is waking during the night already!
The girls don't share a room yet but they will in time.
It's a lot busier with two in some ways, but it's good too.
How is your little rainbow cherub? Walking yet? She'd be crawling and pulling up for sure. Eating well? Sleeping well enough? Cute as a button?
Sounds like a handful dory. Hope that the counselling works for you both. Maybe hb is doing it for attention? I'm finding that my step daughter is Doing the same thing. Rylee is going to be easy to toilet train I think as she hates sitting in wet or dirty nappies. My little miss is walking has been for about 1 week now eating food that we eat and has in the last month sleep through lol can't believe she's 1 soon times going to fast. We're having a party next Sunday for her with out little town lol. I have been stressed out though with dfs kids here and then him loosing his job then being assaulted its just taking a toll on me. I'm nausea but not sick yet, tired, hungry and craving salmon on toast lol. Was it a bit harder for you when you had Gemma?
