Great idea Spring- could you pm me the details for Brissie? Thanks![]()
Sydney ladies, I am trying to organise a morning or afternoon tea in support of the Stillbirth Foundation for Stella's Sunday (see below). Ladies in the other States and Territories you should get together also. My big sister is organising an event in Brisbane and already has about 20 people coming ( Deb a and Lynette I'll PM you separatley. I was thinking we could meet at a park or beach, bring a plate, share some tears, memories and friendship and make a very important contribution to the cause. It can be with or without partners, whatever the majority prefers. We should invite as many people as we can so that we can make a huge contribution. I have only just found out about it and it is next Sunday so I am going to organise the registration including the fee so please let me know whoever is available.
In memory of all our angels
The Stillbirth Foundation warmly invites everyone to commemorate International Baby Loss Day with us on Stella’s Sunday, 14th October 2007.
We are often approached by people asking how they can support the Stillbirth Foundation in their local area, and from this the idea of Stella’s Sunday was born. Throughout this great nation of ours, we are asking stillbirth supporters to host a meal or party or morning or afternoon tea at your home, in the hope that awareness of the stillbirth cause will reach far and wide. It is an event to which you can invite friends and family who might wish to contribute to the stillbirth cause by making a donation to the Stillbirth Foundation or purchasing a Stella Bear.
This is the first year that such an event will be held, and we hope that you will be able to join us in making Stella’s Sunday an Australian success!

Fabulous fabulous fabulous!
I have just paid the registration and the pack should arrive in a day or so. So it is a date.
I am thinking perhaps Bicentenial park as it is fairly central and easy enough to get to.
Does that suit the majority of Sydneysiders?
Spring
It is a wonderful idea isn't it Spring. I got info about it a few weeks ago but didn't do anything about it because I am going to be away. Sorry I should have passed it onto anyone else that was interested. I hope you have a great day for what is a great cause............but like everyday I will be thinking of all our angel babies on this day![]()
Lynn it is such a shame you can't be there, it won't be the same without you but we make sure that little Cooper is remembered on that day along with all the other angels.

Sounds great, when you have the date, time and venue, let me know
Great Kitten2B
The date is Sunday 14 October which is International Baby Loss Day. I'm thinking the location will be Bicentenial Park (anyone who knows a promenant meeting place let me know)
And the time, lets say 10.00am so that we we can have a morning tea.
Does that suit?
should suit me at this stage
I'm in. Where is Bicentenial Park??? I can get anywhere so it isn't a problem - just want to get to the right place![]()
SPring - i have never heard of this rememberance day before - what a great idea. Unfortunately i wont be able to make it though. You will have to look out for Tommy there for me and all the other angels.....
Wish I could be there, but it's just too far away for me![]()
Bicentennial Park is near Homebush, Olympic stadium area
Hi ladies
Tommymum: Such a shame you can't go, we will really miss you. Does another time or location suit you better. We just really need as many people as possible. Rest assured though, little Tommy will be remembered by all of us.
Michelle: Great to hear babe, Can't wait to meet you and Oscar. Bicentenial park is at homebush as Kitten2b said. There is heaps of parking, and a train station close by.
Come on ladies, anyone else out there.
