Red face Bub #1 in the oven

    Hi everyone

After 13 months of TTC, we are now 13 weeks pregnant with our first bub.

Such an exciting time - and we heard bub's heartbeat yesterday for the first time which was just incredible. It actually resembles a little human now! Head, arms, spine... just incredible.

Thanks everyone. It's exciting and a bit overwhelming all at the same time.

I used to be on here quite a bit for the first 8ish months we were ttc and then I got a bit down - so I haven't been posting on here for a while - so it's kind of nice to be back and contributing again too. I think it's true what they say - the moment you stop "trying" is the same moment it sticks.

We've nicknamed it Blugget - cross between a blob and a nugget lol (long story). We also refer to it as a Bathurst baby - cause he/she was conceived after my husband got back from Bathurst! haha What can I say? I missed him ;-)

Isnt just so so incredible seeing that little person in there???
Oh it totally is - it was such a quick ultrasound (just at the OB's office to check on things) and I was so disappointed when it was over.. I was like 'nooo... i wasn't finished staring yet!' lol
