So, yesterday as it was Mothers Day we decided to tell my mum and my DD about the pregnancy. Converstaion went a little like this:

"B....., mum, we have something to tell you....... If all goes well you are going to be a Big Sister!!!"

"I know" DD says, ever so casually.

"what do you mean you know? we are going to have a baby!" (trying to sound excited)

"yeah, i know"

"how do you know?"

"cos your tummy is getting fat and you are always tired".

Talk about anti climax!!!

Also, i have been asking DF what he wants to refer to the baby as before its born and have given him a few ideas (the usual, you know ... bubble, pod, jnr etc)

the other day he referred to it (quite innocently) as "The Unit".

So now "its" been referred to as Unit by its amazingly perceptive big sister!

Stick little Unit, stick! (its just NOT cute is it??!!)
