Excited but it hasn't sunk in yet!
Hi Everyone, as you know, I'm very new here and only just introduced myself about a week ago.
To fill you in, I had my Implanon removed about 2 months ago and ovulated about 3 weeks later...wow that was a (good)shock! My fiancé and I decided about a week after that to try to get pregnant and whaddayano...it happened on the first cycle we started trying!
I ovulated on the 28th of July so I guess that makes me at about 3 weeks since ovulation or a bit over 5 weeks since my last period.
It's very early days now and who knows what will happen but we're hoping for the best and are really over the moon about it all!
It will be baby number 1 for both of us and the first time I've ever been pregnant so I have no idea how it's going to hit me!
We're holding off telling everyone for at least another month but I'm nice an anonymous here so I guess you folks are safe to tell!
One of my best friends is 8 weeks pregnant right now and I must say I'm thrilled to be doing it with her.
So that's all for now...gotta go eat,
