    Talking Finally...our dream is realised!!

    Just wanted to share it with the world that I'm knocked up!!

    We've been trying for two long years and after numerous tests and within two weeks of starting Clomid I have gotten a . Yeah for us.
    I was feeling different ever since Christmas but thought it might have had something to do with the HSG that I did prior to Christmas. Was 6 days overdue for AF and was thinking okay maybe just maybe something is up. So I did I HPT on Saturday morning and saw a faint second line and showed DH, who was still partially asleep in bed. I shoved it in his face along with the diagram that shows what the results mean. It took him 5 mins to finally get what it meant. (His excuse was that he was still dopey from sleep). I said what do you see in the round window...he says 'half moon'. I said no look closer. That's when he finally clicked and started grinning like an idiot. He hasn't wiped it off yet. My sister works at the hospital and was able to do a blood test for me, which was positive.

    We are stoked and are due on the 21st September according to dates. Just so happens to be two days before my birthday .

    Kate...that is just fantastic news!!!

    Like you, after several years of TTC, our first cycle of clomid was a winner too!
