It’s official!

After 33 long months of TTC, with 4 failed Clomid cycles and 1 failed IVF attempt, somehow, incredibly, my DH and I have managed to conceive our first bub. Amazing, but true!

For the last few days, I’ve been trying to protect myself by not really believing it, but yesterday I had a BT and today an ultrasound both showing things to be about 6 weeks along. So I guess I have to finally believe the good news! My EDD is 1 June 07.

We’re still not sure how it happened. Our successful cycle was straight after our first IVF stim cycle, which seems to suggest that maybe the leftover hormones managed to kick start things into gear. At least that’s my theory – I just can’t believe we achieved this by ourselves!
