Freaking AWESOME news OP!! I'm over the moon for you, DH, DD and DS. It's fantastic!! I hope your sister adjusts her attitude when she's had time to get used to the idea.

Peanutter - she basically told me I was making a mistake... said that I was already struggling and that it was just not practical.

Boo to sister. I reckon she's just jealous.
Boo indeed!! I shake my fist with a disapproving look and throw plums in her general direction. Old plums. Very manky looking old plums.

You're an intelligent, organised and very nice lady who wouldn't have been going for OP-mark-3 if you had doubts. She should trust your judgement - or shut up and congratulate you anyway!

My sister was stoked (she loves babies she can give back to others, when they poo or cry or snot!!), my SIL-1 was delighted it happened so quickly this time around (long story...) and my SIL-2 was thrilled because (in her words) "That's awesome - that's the pressure off of me for even longer!!".

Please share in my sisterly affection and congratulations

    Thank you dear heart

She has two of her own... quite close in age to my two... she actually said "I hope you have a boy... he'll fit in better with my DS and your DS, a girl will get left out."

Ah well. Everyone here is happy for me.

And my lovely ILs, bless them, they were stoked. They got all teary. Aww.

As I said before, I'm so very pleased for you. Even more reason to do the work from home mummy thing.

I laughed when I saw that you'd started the Belly Buddies thread and you are the first one. I'm sure you will get some friends soon.

    Congratulations.
