New to forum and 6 weeks pg

    Hello,
I found out 2 weeks ago that i was pregnant and due around May 10th 2009 (first baby age almost 35) - and now at 6 weeks it still doesn't seem real - but am looking forward to an U/S at 8 1/2 weeks to make it all really real. It's early so not getting too excited as much as i'd like to. But i am trying to wade through all the information about OB and midwife, public/private vs homebirth - it's a bit overwhelming. So far i've booked in at 'arrivals' which is private OB and midwife team opposite The Mater hospital in Brisbane but am thinking if everything looks good i might want to change to homebirth - am hoping this forum will help me make those decisions.
    Thanks,
    Carla :-)
