OMG I can't believe it!!

I'm so excited! Baby #1 is on it's way!

I was feeling rather bummed last week as i had some spotting and was convinced AF was on the way. I was too impatient to wait for tomorrow (when AF was due) so I took a test today just for the heck of it. My second line came up quite dark and quite fast! I was so excited I started crying. I ran in to tell my sleeping husband, he said he was really happy but he was still half asleep so I'm not sure if it actually registered or not. Will have to tell him again later LOL

It's my dad's birthdy next week and even though I'll only be 4.5 weeks by then, I'm going to tell him then (he's going to be thrilled). We'll probably tell the rest of the family next week-end as well (can't leave them out) and then we'll see how long we can hold off telling friends.

We told my Dad for his birthday too when I was 4.5 weeks pregnant! And you are also due on my sisters birthday!

Your posts are all so sweet they actually made me cry! Thanks so much for all your wonderful support! You guys are awesome.

My husband's birthday is next week-end as well but I just couldn't hold off telling him that long LOL. My dad though has been dropping hints for ages now about grandkids (this will be his first) so I can't wait to tell him. I have a pressie for him from my sister and I, and then an extra gift from just Hubby and I. I got him this pewter picture frame that says I LOVE GRANDPA on it and then I put inside it a picture of a cartoon baby with the words "Photo Due November 12th 2007". Can't wait to see his face.
