Sorry - I am abit of a newbie really... I joined last year when we first started trying - but have not fallen and sort of been trying to concentrate on other things!
Short story...
Started TTC Nov 07... I have a blood disorder - so menstrual cycles abit out of whack after coming off the pill...
Finally got referred to a Gyno 8 weeks ago - who diagnosed me with PCOS and obviously my weight contributing... he said that lose weight and come back when my cycles are back to around 30 days (instead of 50 or more apart!)
Well - I didnt get that far!!!
I have been feeling sick ALL week.... and everyone at work has been making jokes that I am pregnant.. haha... as if I was thinking (i wish - but gyno had said, not able to yet...)
I finally bought a test - but had visitors and then didnt do the test til 10pm at night and it came straight up POSITIVE... i was in shock! Rang hubby who was at work and he was amazed. I decided not to get excited yet and go see the doctor.
First thing in the morning - off to docs and I am estimated 7 weeks pregnant
OMG - YAYYYYYYYY
I am soooo excited and shocked, amazed etc etc
So now I just have to make sure bubs sticks for 5 more weeks and I can tell my friends & family!
Thanks everyone! - I really appreciated it
ALL of my friends are having babies atm and i am so glad its finally my turn...
So far its just all day/night nausea... luckily havent been actually sick yet!
Spose I am lucky I got it at 7 weeks and not earlier!
I am open to all advice that anyone has to give.
Its sooo hard because I cant tell anyone yet! I spose I am slightly worried at the chance of a miscarrige too... ekkkk!

: bad spelling!
I was so upset when it wasnt happening... and everyone would tell me that it will oneday... but now i am truely shocked at how it has all just happened - when I wasnt even thinking about it!
Try the Pregnancy general discussion or first trimester threads or just search morning sickness. There have been heaps of threads with suggestions as to what to do or eat/drink to help. Everyone is different - just keep trying things til you find something that works for you! Hope it eases up soon.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes
Its now 9 weeks and everything has been going fine (still non stop nausea - been sick twice... but its worth it!)
I have my first appt with Obs coming up and date set for my 12 week scan... im sooo bursting to tell everyone - but just have to wait!
