hi ladies, i havent been on here very long - was really just researching about pregancy - was going to start trying in a month or so when - whoops!! out of hte blue we are 3 weeks pregnant!!!! went to doc today - she said bloods not neccessary -
now just reall yscared!!
turned 25 today so what a bday pressie - happy birthday me!!!!
yeah i am switching my health company as not covered with my current...
i have an oncology specialist that i see every 6 months and she will give me some names of obs but i want a good private one...
congratulations!!!!
You might be a bit late for private cover. There's usually a 12 month wait for ob but never mind there are lots of wonderful public maternity units. There are lots of women who prefer to use the public system for birth because it tends to have a more woman centered approach.
i rang latrobe health this morning and as i have been with another provider for 2 month nearly 3 they are willing to take me on and cover me for pregnancy if my husband and i both switch over.. but they said i have to do i right away.
i live in kings park.
i was thinking if i had to go public, sunshine as its 5 mins down the road or theres footscray private or francis perry.. i need to get an ob first i think so that i can see where they work out of right???
ooh so much to think of and its making me nauseous!! (sp)
We changed to Latrobe as we wanted their 9 month waiting period. Health funds have to count partial waiting period already served with another fund (your 2 - 3 months), so you should only have 6-7 months left until you are covered...
