Proof that IVF can work the 1st time around!

I never thought that I'd be posting an announcement in a pregnancy forum of all places.... but here I am!

After 2 years of TTC, surgeries, endometriosis, artificial menopause, tests, scans, bloods (and more tests!), and finally jumping into IVF I find myself pregnant. It's early... very early... but I'm remaining positive and keeping my fingers crossed that this little one's meant for this world.

At 13DPO (7 days past a 5-day transfer of one expanded blastocyst) I got this: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...t-says-yes.jpg

I'm in awe and slightly in shock that it's possible my body actually works....!

Thank you SO MUCH everyone, it makes my day to be able to announce this news after living in the depths of infertility and resigning myself to the fact that maybe I was never destined to me a mother. Even if we aren't successful in the end, it fills me with hope to know that it's possible for implantation (and growth!) to occur inside my body.

What a wonderful thing the human body is! *excited gushing*

Congratulations, what wonderful news. And I just have to say what a lovely dark line that is. Mine were not like that at 14DPO, you must have a lovely sticky one in there, all the best xx
