This is a belated announcement, we found out about 2 weeks ago that we're expecting our 1st baby due around the end of January; so we're almost 7 weeks!!
The surprise comes as it's only our 2nd cycle of clomid, we started trying early in the year. We'd been seeing a fertility specialist after I had an ovary removed last year due to a cyst and the one I have left wasn't ovulating.
So while the dr. said we still had a fair chance with the clomid we really were taken by surprise to fall preg so quickly and easily! I hadn't even started charting properly!!!
So far I've had no symptoms other than tender bb's which i get w/ pms anyway and slight loss of appetite. So I am still having difficulty thinking pregnant cos nothing's changed!! I'm sure that'll all come soon enough!!!
Anyway that's me & my story I look forward to chatting along the way, I've already found this site so helpful!!!
Thanks everyone for your well wishes!!! And to all of you expecting wishing you H&H 9months too!!! We have our first scan on Tuesday, booked it for 8am the earliest they had just so we didn't have to wait any longer than we have to!! VERY EXCITED can't wait to see all is ok and I think we should see a heartbeat? Hope everyone's having a nice weekend!!
We had our dating scan yesterday and our dates have changed to 7 weeks today! Making edd 4-2-09. Everything looked good and some solid proof that there's a baby growing inside of me! All of I sudden I don't mind not having the morning sickness ! I'm so excited now just hangin tight for the ride ahead! Woo Hoo!
Huge congrats to you! Our first baby was a clomid bub (second cycle, just like you) and I also did not experience any of the traditional pregnancy symptoms, so yes, enjoy it!
