State of shock!

Well, I was a bit concerned about my 8weeks+ cycle with no EWCM so I did myself a blood test this morning and not all the results are back yet but this is what I have:

aB Plasma progesterone n 56.6 nmol/L
aB Plasma hCG n 58552.0 iu/L

Flagged up in red so I know that's not normal LOL!

I'm excited and happy, of course, but this was a little unexpected as although we've been slack with the condoms we're not trying yet! Just called DH to tell him, we're going to the GP tomorrow night. With those results it looks like I'll be due early Feb, but the odd thing is the only condom we used was 4 weeks ago, so if I am 6 weeks pg then we can blame the condom!

Gosh, I can't stop shaking! This is fantastic news but also quite a bit scary! Ah well, only 2 weeks until I get my first scan... it's really not sinking in at all!

OK, best go tell all the girls in pre-conception now! It's so fantastic and scary at the same time. I really wasn't expecting this!

Well, it's real! Just had biochemistry call me to tell me the results... really wierd getting that down the phone. At least they didn't realise it was me - I do know some people up there.

Still shaking! Can't take it in at all! I feel like such a bad mummy for not knowing my due date - probably early february based on a 6-week cycle, but who knows?
